This is the biggest reason for the sustained failure of our current government. More parties involved means more people are represented, not just two blanket groups of individuals. A country as diverse as ours cannot be adequately represented simply by two stances. A green vote is not a wasted vote, it is a vote of confidence in the democratic process. It is your civic duty as a US citizen to vote for the candidate you believe is best suited for public office: NO OTHER DETAILS MATTER.

Bob Barr is a republican, through and through. The only reason he ran independent is because he didn't want to run against the other republican candidates in the primaries. If he's a libertarian, I'm the queen of england.
