  • i freaking love it. if i had two hub motors i would drag race anyone LOL

  • the headwind doesn't help : )

is the camera vehicle also electric?

  • u think ur a tricycle in tron

  • hay doc, I though I would share with u what i have been working on. regenrtive electric scooters and have achived it. basicly two scooters put toghter but not connected electricly and bolth have regentive costing (no freewheele) 1 pushes the other and charges and u use whatever one has the highest volatge. the other one u probly won't belive but electric scooter without batterys.

  • i ssay put a frount moter thats geared for the top end u only gained 1 mph from 1/8to 1/4 mile defently run the same reargear . voltage = power

  • @MrJetjoe rear motor are enough.. believe me!

Voltage is not power.... power is voltage time current =) and i use both !

watch more of my video.. you'll see i built another one.. a DH bike that top 106kmh using 15-20kW of aceleration power

  • @MrJetjoe NOPE voltage does NOT equal power you scrub. Why not just strap some 9v alkaline batteries together....

  • @MrJetjoe NOPE sure doesn't take your misinformation somewhere else scrub

  • @MrJetjoe NOPE sure doesn't take your misinformation somewhere else scrub, Also motors do not work that way!!! GOODNIGHT!

  • you can make yourself a carbon fiber frame, handle bar and other components that individualy don't weigh much but in summed will be considerable weight loss :)

  • what the spec ?

  • Wear Lycra and pedal - faster

  • ok nice;)

  • top speed?

  • Time slip:

    - recorded 67.9km/h (1/4mile)

    -reaction: 1.064

    -60FT: 3.032sec

    -1/8 mile 14.385sec at 66.8kph

    -1/4 mile time 25.093sec at 67.9km/h

    - head wind of 46 km/h TOO HIGH

  • that's the point heh

  • i most have missed it,what was you time and speed?

  • thats pretty cool, is that motor brushless?

  • Yes it is.. a Crystalyte 5305 mounted on a 24" wheel

  • I figured it would be! How many volts and AH is required to successfully move one of those mothers? I only have 20AH 48v. Thats my most powerful. Thanks.

  • Dr.Bass : To save the planet all we need is 25kph and lots of torque to go up steep slopes. Long steep slopes.

The bicycle should look like a regular bicycle...light and safe.

Drag racing is a hobby for rich countries with lots of resources.

Range ,range, range and torque....that´s the avenue you should explore for us.

    Congratulations !

    Andres fron Santiago, Chile.

  • Range = Lots of batteries and/or low aerodynamic profile. It's as simple and tried and trued as that. Convincing people they need to go less than satisfying speeds is not convincing in a Western country like the US, but it might be elsewhere in other places that don't obsess as much about time.

  • Naw man, I'm proud of him for achieving this. Plus 25km/h is really slow, slower than many speed limits i've seen for e-bikes. Also, racing is not for the rich, I can beg to differ... Although Dr.Bass's Bike here would be rather expensive.... I'm sure he saves a lot on the batteries!

  • awsome !!!! :):):):):)

  • I think your 1/4 time is faster than my car's hehe

  • Can't wait to see the next race you will get more speed recorded than this.

  • feel the wrath of my goldenmotor!!

    nice vid doc

  • Thats like saying..."feel the wrath of my 250w Cammy CC hub" LOL

  • heh that the point :)
