@FeLuNYZz Yeah that's how I bowl too. I think it's different with pro bowling balls. They have half finger holes and it may make it easier to use all three fingers
@louisdiaz316 : Maybe, but I can't see a right-handed bowler using the arrow furthest to the left, or a left-handed bowler using the arrow furthest to the right...
@michaelp0506 : Why? Even with your left foot well past the last board it still doesn't seem like throwing there will get the ball out enough if the lanes were really dry enough to be forcing you to be playing that far left to begin with.
@derekayers11 thats because your trying to hook the ball, and throw it fast with a lot of power, and you're not doing it correctly, if you get the arm swing free and wrist position correct, with the help of a coach, you'll start to generate the power ur looking for and trying to get
@TheFeard try not cupping your wrist as much or moving it into a weaker position wich means dont angle your wrist as much. maybe step back on the approach a little to add speed to the ball. or if none of this works, just buy a weaker ball lol
@FURfox08 The bowlers of the 50s might not look impressive, but If you played with their equipment on their lane conditions, I think you'd come to understand why most of them played relatively straight and to respect just how accurate they were. Consider the success even in the modern era of players such as Walter Ray Williams. Look up some Andy Varipapa trick shot videos.
Young buck after throwing a crashing strike - "How 'bout that old timer?"
@FURfox08 , I was Just thinking that as I watched this video. You'd have to bring your gear with you, though. In the past, there just wasn't the high friction between ball and lane that there is now. And the lane man's art is not to be forgotten, either. There weren't a lot of smart lane conditions that gave bowlers area. And the pins weren't as high scoring, either. You're right. The idea of going back in time is really interesting! Well said! -Tom McElheney, Bowling World Magazine

I guess I stating the obvious but if you watch his follow through it's going further left the more inside the ball he goes.
