To those that blame Marlin, do any of you know what killed him and that he would still be alive if the seat belt didnt fail...And he might of even survived it yet if he chose to use a proper helmet like most of the drivers then but he insisted on the open helmet. His choice, and a little bit of a freak failure, is what killed him. Their has been lot worse hits in nascar that drivers have survived.

Love Sterling Marlin. Properly old-skool racer, great to see him still running when he can. Coulda won a championship in 02 had it not been for his awful injury. Very underrated driver imo. Great clip as well :)
Sterlin' is just a good ole country boy who, if he would have got the preferential treatment that Mark Martin got, would have done as good, or better, than MM did this past season!
He was right - and I have never liked Biffle. Biffle could have seen that he was getting into Sterling's rear right corner panel and let off to avoid wrecking him, but he instead turned his car left and drove straight through and spun Marlin around. lol
