im 26 i started listening to AFI in 1990 when i was 6 or 7 my friends big brother boot legged a recording of them from a live show...sure their new direction isnt what they started as...but name one band who has stayed the same and still stayed on the scene (just look at metallica...their shit has gone WAY down hill..because they made the wrong change) either way AFI is doin something right to still be in the game(and making better music than bands like greenday who they started out with)

I have nothing against you eating meat , feel free to eat a whole chicken if you want. I just think that eating meat is not really essential as they make it seem. Mushrooms and beans are a much healthier way of entering proteins , but do as you want and I'll do as I want. We all have different ways , and AFI chose to promote Vegetarian lifestyle.

And vegetarianism has nothing to do with the hippy movement.

If they were concious they might have stopped eating it . And techincally if we follow Darvins Theory we ate fruits first. The animals whose intelligence is closer to ours are less likely to eat meat (Chimpanzee, Dolphins ...) .

Don't try to find an excuse for eating meat, we have none. It's just the society that made us believe that eating meat is natural.

Well they aren't kids anymore so they won't pretend to be "hardcore" by putting wolves and tigers , therefore they put a rabbit , a cute little animal that gets killed just for fun , in accidents , in order to satisfy peoples appetite.
