How do you know this is the way it was when originally recorded? How do you know the deep voice version on the album isn't the real one? I mean of course I totally agree this version sounds more "him," which is why I wanted to know about the album version. Where did you get that info? I'm just wondering because I've been looking this song up trying to find out what was done to the vocals or what wasn't and I haven't had any luck finding anything. An answer would be much appreciated! =)

The vocals were digitally pitched down in the original version to make his voice sound deeper so what you're hearing here is in essence the original voice version.
