  • you touch my soul angioletto! sigh!

  • One of the voices that appear and comes around like every 50 plus years.

The spirit that drives his voice is almost in its own element.

  • Surpassed his father's achievements a hundred times over. Great jazz singing, a tragic loss

  • I love this song and this beautiful man!!

  • I really love that they used an Asian woman, idk you almost never see an Asian woman unless she is highly sexualized/'The Dragon Lady' or because it's a martial arts movie. Makes me love this song even more!

  • It's kind of scary. There's some people you just can't imagine being old. Yeah Jeff would've been 45, but could you actually imagine that? I mean, that pure voice? Still going on at age 45. It's weird, when i was 14 i couldn't ever imagine my father being a good grandad (not that he wasn't a good father, he just didn't seem like he could ever be a grandad unlike my mother who could be a grandmother with ease) and he died too. I guess some people are really only ment to be for a short while! RIP

  • Jeff...you make everything so much better.

  • if this song was a girl...i would marry her!!!!

  • What a song. My geese are bumped.

  • is it weird that from about 0:11 - 0:30 i thought it was going to be weird al ? ...hmm

  • orgasmic bass performance

  • This song brings back some funny memories to me.

When i was growing up i used to listen to the radio a lot (90's no MTV in my country yet) and this song would come up late night, and i always thought i mean there's no doubt on mind this guy was black, is voice so soulful and this is song so Prince type thing.

    Music is an amazing thing

  • Definitely a rainy mood song.

  • Everybody here misses you, Jeff.

  • Such a perfect song.

Is anybody else looking forward to the film?

Reeve Carney will play Jeff Buckley in untitled biopic.

  • @JaguarNoise Yes! I'm looking forward to the movie! But, why they didn't cast James Franco in the role is baffling me. His role in Pineapple Express alone should make it obvious that he can pull off Jeff's quirky personality. Just a thought! T

  • wtf is up with this douche bag music video? way to ruin an amazing song.

  • @theaxylum I happen to think the music video is lovely. It fits the song perfectly. A beautiful woman for a beautiful song. Perfect but brilliant.

  • @theaxylum get over yourself...

  • Lovely song...

  • My favourite thing in the world.

  • My Favourite Song right now!

  • @lydiamale I agree

  • Everybody Here Wants You, Jeff...

  • just beautiful, thank you for your emotive music, i've been listening for 9 years now, big inspiration and the only man i would want to see live. no one could say a bad word about his music, and not just because he is no longer with us, his music finds his way to the right people, people who appreciate his talent, he never started out as a singer, he just found it, like i found him at the age of 15. his music lives on in the hearts of the open minded, humble people. he was a find, & a great loss

  • This man just saved me after watching Rebecca Black's song.

  • He only sings slightly better than me...

  • Ummm...Did somebody just pour honey in my ear? What a terrible loss, my heart is aching.

  • @Mijicm It's one thing to hate on today's crappy music but be careful you don't become an 'era-ist' or hater.

Good music exists in all eras, even now.

  • @Sablicious It exists...it's just harder to find now...and it saddens me. For instance, Adele has talent, and it's easy to tell.

  • What a tragic loss this man was to the music industry. I never get sick of listening to him

  • More beautiful than I thought this MV would be. Compliments this guy's amazing voice.

  • So o

  • ?what can I say?

  • This is so beautiful :)

  • Everybody Here Miss You Jeff!

  • what a seductive song

  • Why not/

  • berceuse bonne nuit..

  • fuck the mississipi...

god i wont sacrifice rebecca or bieber, i will sacrifice the mississipi river that took jeff, so now you can have the river but bring jeff back ;)

  • Jeff Buckley's voice and style was way ahead of his time. This song could début tomorrow and it will still be a hit.

  • @surfthewebph Well, music is generally timeless, and that's all the more true for Jeff's :) Unfortunately, if it ain't Kesha, Gaga or Bieber, it's frowned upon today...

  • @grayishjedi Who the fuck is Kesha? Bieber is for the Gen-R ('R' for retard) and Gaga is okay.

But yeah. Music sucks nowadays. -_-

  • why you DIEEE man?

  • Can everybody just shut up with your beyonces and justin biebers. Can I just watch ONE good video without people comparing and mentioning someone completely unrelated to the genre and artist. Ugh

  • 1.5 million views, and only 13 dislikes? I've finally found it!! The cure to trolls is Jeff Buckley!

  • She is waiting for him, but he'll never come back! :'(

  • I miss Jeff Buckley... I can't "technically" miss him since I was only three years old when he died but still... I wish he'd be still alive :(

  • oh hes gone fml:'(

  • The vid does kinda suck, but the song like all his stuff transcends everything else.

  • I believe Jeff Buckley wanted to make a living and some money playing, but his need and pull to make music consumed him and drove him to heights so great that most people can't understand that passion.

  • @nat00ben06 I totally agree. I've never seen someone who loves music so much.

  • Happy 45th Birthday Jeff, wherever you are!!!

  • Jeff Buckley was such an a amazing musician. Check out our latest track -Lucid: 'Colourful'?

  • the beggining sounds like in What the fuck Loca people song :P

  • @LiviaSun How dare you... ?!

  • C'est à chaque fois lorsqu'on tombe amoureux qu'il faut se dire Adieu ,c'est dur!!!

  • how cool is it that they didn't get some plastic woman, but an originally beautiful woman for the vid?

  • @somebodyjones2 looooooooooooooooooooool

  • <3

  • Love his music. This vid? Not so very much.

  • @CheezInspector Agreed. The songs is amazing but the video is a dud.

  • its funny how so many top comments on youtube are about top comments XD

  • Poetic lyrics. Sexy altogether. :P

  • It is as if his music is tearing you apart inside, leaving you vulnerable. Sometimes his songs are too painful. Leaves me emotionally aching. But like a drug, you just can't stop...........

  • feels quite erotic

  • LOVE

    one of the best

  • his music is so deep I can play one song over and over again and still hear new things.

  • I'm only here

  • Baby-making song :D

  • listen from the start and at 3.23 is my shiver moment ;)

I don't know any other song that can make me do that...

this song helped me through difficult emotional problems in the past

    Thank you Jeff!

  • Patrick made a cover for this

  • Every time I hear this song it sends shivers down my spine. There are only two other songs that do that to me and they are Queen - Only the good die young and Jeff Buckley - Forget Her.

  • why did jeff have to go swim in the river?

  • the jokes over jeff now come back to life

  • google rainymood , go at the first link.

than listen this music again :)

  • @LuisinhaaS

it amplifies the emotional value of the song, thx m8 its awsome :D

  • @EpiXelF ahah, peace man :D

  • assholeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • The sad truth when you realize you will never see this man perform live.

    feels bad man :(

  • @hurrdurrbleh That's exactly how i feel everytime i listen his music =(

  • @hurrdurrbleh heart broken

  • @hurrdurrbleh I feel fortunate to have seen Jeff play twice: at the Reading Festival in 1994 (Morphine played on the same stage) and at Liberty Lunch in Austin in 1995 (Soul Coughing opened). I doubt I'll ever see a more passionate performer in my lifetime.

  • what an irony!

  • I share a house with a gorgeous girl that everyone wants but I don't think she really knows as she is so naive....

  • so this is what porn sounds like in song form! :)

  • the ULTIMATE make out song

    :D

  • Reason why...it hurts so good

  • I want to fuck that voice

  • @CommentNotAvailable Me first

  • SHIN SHAN STICKERS ON HER LAPTOP!!!

  • The 13 ppl that disliked must be tone deaf!

  • Reading everyone's comments made me tear up, in seeing that Jeff and his music touched so many passionate souls just as he has mine.

  • Cool lyrics

  • I will do anything to get you back, Jeff

  • The girl used ipad, I believe. Not surprised. Jeff's unbelievable.

  • Wish Heath Ledger were playing Jeff in the upcoming film :(

  • top comments are sooo original

  • @Qoooba95

just like top chart music.. see a pattern?

  • My love for Jeff grows for every time i listen to him. I remember when i bought the album "Grace" and i thought songs like "Mojo Pin", "Lilac Wine", "So Real", and "Last Goodbye" weren't that good. After listening to "Grace every day for a week now, "Mojo Pin" is my favourite song with him, and i love all the rest!

    Everybody here wants you Jeff..

  • @jnotheman thats exactly how i felt about those same songs!!!! Now I listen to the album everyday, and love every song on the album!!! (except corpus christi carol, still cant get into that one)

  • @SamNeedsToSing You're kidding right? I just recently started to understand that song, i love it now though, but it took me some weeks to get into it ;)

  • Jeff's is the music I turn to when life get's heavy.

  • Yes you were the "one", so after this I go to the Nightshift and think of Marvin Gaye and your good self. Still remember hearing the radio announcer choking after this with the news that day in 1997 in the hot tropical sun on a bus in Darwin with the earplugs in fighting the good fight against Jabiluka . I swear the orbit wobbled from the anguisin anguish in that radio guys voice. He knew you were the one too.

  • @Tom5578 This almost made me cry. I didn't know of Jeff in 1997, but I felt like I was there. Beautiful post.

  • thanks writer/mom it was high emotion, and i really caught my breath hearing this song, thinking, who could do that, and then he's gone already. Tragedy I thought. Like hearing Victor Jara and knowing what happened to him. Tragedy.

  • oh wow..

  • That woman needs a hug badly =(

  • dont put justin beiber and the prince of darkness in the same category,

  • I love Jeff Buckley why did he have to die while people like ozzy osborne and justin beiber live .... lifes not fair :'(

  • The video shows a girl waiting for Jeff coming back from Memphis... But he will never comeback...

  • The thing with Jeff's music is that, unless you are a really really strong fan of his, you can't even contemplate the emotional value that you get from the music, as well as the absolutely stunning musical value you get as well. It can actually get over-whelming at times, but that's the exact reason why I love it. If anybodies music can do that to me, well then fair play, but Jeff was just really exceptional. The pain, love, anger, caring that he put into his music is just something else.

  • @ChrisArdcath I couldn't agree more. it does things to you that keeps you coming back for more, and wish he had never gone away.

  • @ChrisArdcath I wholeheartedly agree and couldn't have said it better myself. If I sound like some kind of "music snob" then so be it. But there are times when I can't even listen to his music because I know I am not ready. even after so long, it can still be too much for me.

  • @ChrisArdcath I couldn't agree more I think it's very strange that he has such a little fan base even though his music such as this song touches quite a few genres on rock. Jeff was the ultimate kind of artist.

  • @ChrisArdcath ... Yes, his intensity makes sense ... Read his bio: by the end he's exhibiting classic signs of manic depression.

  • @ChrisArdcath dude. shut up.

  • @boobfacemango Thanks.

  • lol the two top comments AGAIN!!!

  • So wonderful...... ♫♪ Լღvє ♫ ♪♪

  • Love can taste like the wine of the age

  • I will forever love this song.

  • @ABShrum Fart!

  • i dont think beyonce could do this song, her voice is to loud for it

  • @BigTymerPimp That's true this song already has some soul which is why I think it would be great for her. I'm not talking about her heading to the studio and completely revamping the song, that would defeat the purpose. I'm talking about singing it for a concert, just look at some of Prince's songs she sings or Anita Bakers "sweet love" she did a while back, nothing too dramatic, just nostalgic and nice

  • The two top comments are practically the same... wow

  • @MrNattyful its cuz its the truth

  • @MrNattyful Great minds think alike.. I think we all want him back to hear some more of this great great talent..He sure has a gift from God..

  • @BigTymerPimp Ruin? No she's an incredible singer that could really put a great soulful spin on this song. Beyonce has an amazing voice, you can't deny that

  • @missfashionfoward I agree Beyonce has a great voice, I never said she didn't, but having a great voice does not always mean you can do something justice. This song is already soulful by the way. Beyonce doing vocal runs everywhere over an overproduced instrumental version of this will not make it more soulful or better at all.

  • 0:48 and such a short moment it was, Jeff...

  • I really think Beyonce should do a cover of this for her concert..

  • @missfashionfoward Let's not ruin a good thing now. Let this song be. Thank you very much. Have a nice day.

  • I want you back, Jeff. Love you forever./S

  • Oh, Jeff <3

  • i want to go back in time and save him

  • if you dont like this why are you even watching this. SHIT...

  • WOW Jeff soooo good lyrics sounds merge to form perfect sounds, his voice is divine what a story he tells.
