It's a game, a really good one!

BUt there is a show called .Hack//Roots that's based before this game... It's sorta the preface into it. It's an anime.

There is also a CG movie to these game series (GU) called .Hack//G.U. Trilogy. That's basically summing up the entire 3 games of GU. :)

I highly recommend the .Hack series! GU is the best in my opinion...

Yep! You will get the word moonlight and can fight one at any time! thats what I did, but I couldn't handle it haha

Yes you do, cept, after you beat the game you get the 3rd word 'Moonlight' that guarantees that the Doppleganger will be in ther area without waiting.
