@tbsbass1220 I love the distorted tone of their recordings. I like hearing something so loud and noisy and messy sometimes. If you listen to them enough, every other band starts to sound way too clean and overly digital. Just listen to Thursday's "The Love Song Writer", and then go listen to some awful song from Skillet like "Monster". I've really come to appreciate the messy tone. Especially if you put on some nice studio headphones and jam it in the dark.

@RWhitman83 to each his own, but i feel like the songs themselves just got worse anyway. not horrible, i bought the new album and play it occasionally. but not as good as their old shit. there's bands that pull this sludgy digital sound off better

It is good that you pointed that out, they fucked up the screaming on most of the songs on this album but they got it right on this song. I love the lead guitar at the end, it is very un-thursday that it actually works because they don't do it often.
