Some very good ideas. As a visually impaired adult - the best advice I can give is to not try and push your child to try and avoid adaptive equippment. Encourage them to use said tools. Make them feel as comfortable as possible. My parents/family always tried to convince me that I didn't need some adaptive items. I had to learn later on.
