The parties have begun to switch their philosophies on the role of government beginning with FDR in the late '30s. The changes became more solid in the '60s when LBJ signed the Civlil RIghts Act, when Southern Democrats (Dixiecrats) and other Democrats tried to create a filabuster before leaving their party and became Republicans and vice versa, making the parties what they are today

A handful of polititians from both parties switch parties and change the total philosophy not just of both parties but if the followers in total. They protested wall street for the bailouts. The bailouts stem from the federal reserve. Even if many of them don't understand the problem is the fed, they at least are protesting the actions of the fed, and ending the fed was a HUGE mantra for the tea party (at first anyways, before crashing.)

@mexseiko If you studied the parties' history, you know that the Dems and GOP were different 40-50 years ago. The parties have begun to switch their philosophies on the role of government beginning with FDR in the late '30s. The changes became more solid in the '60s when LBJ signed the Civlil RIghts Act, when Southern Democrats (Dixiecrats) and other Democrats tried to create a filabuster before leaving their party and became Republicans and vice versa, making the parties what they are today

They protested wall street for the bailouts. The bailouts stem from the federal reserve. Even if many of them don't understand the problem is the fed, they at least are protesting the actions of the fed, and ending the fed was a HUGE mantra for the tea party (at first anyways, before crashing.)
