Dean so perfectly illustrates Ruby's true intentions in this scene, and it's chilling to think of how everything he said, in one way or another, came to pass, and Sam was never able to see her for what she really was. One of my favorite parts of the episode. I loved the Dean/Ruby/Sam dynamic.

Ruby is the demon that possessed Meg. She is carrying out Azazel's master plan which invovles Sam if you ask me. It has something to do with drinking the demon blood and there is still so much more that we don't know. For example Azazel could still be alive through Sam and Ruby is trying to resurrect him instead of Lucifer or so he can resurrect Lucifer. There r so many questions that need answers and I cannot wait. That is my belief for now.
And a far better actress. I loved Ruby but it's not even like the same character anymore, and Gen Cortese is so convinced Ruby is truly in love with Sam that she only plays her one way and all the mystery is gone. The whole love-sick demon cliche is so dull and stupid.

I personally think the new Ruby is ok but there is something missing. I think Genevive makes it obvious maybe too obvious that Ruby has a thing for Sam, she's too affectionate. Kate Cassidy brought a certain edge to the character. With her portrayal Ruby could call you a dick for being stupid but you still knew that she had the guys' back. I miss that but like ShadowPhoenix82 said, Genevive speaks lines that are written for the character. It's just that delievery is everything.

That is not consistent with anything we've seen about Dean. He didn't even hesitate in slitting the throat of that vampiric girl who showed great pain and remorse about killing people when out of control. I doubt he would hesitate in fighting a demon, even a demong "girl".
but still he wasn't fighting with her like he does with other men.

I LOVE this scene. The lines were great: "You wanna save yourself? This is how you dumb, spineless dick!" And of course: "And I wish you'd shut your pie hole, but we don't always get what we want." So great. I was laughing the whole time.

That is not consistent with anything we've seen about Dean. He didn't even hesitate in slitting the throat of that vampiric girl who showed great pain and remorse about killing people when out of control. I doubt he would hesitate in fighting a demon, even a demong "girl".

Ruby has really grown on me as this season has go on. I love this scene! One of my favorites of the night! I love Dean and Ruby's relationship and bickering, They just do not get along AT ALL, its very entertaining to watch for us though. Thanks for posting this!

it looked like ruby did more damage when they where fighting but i think dean won in the end because well they both looked beat up, he trapped her and got the knife
