I know you didn't make this, but whoever did, they obviously have never even played metroid prime. Where is Ridley? Where is the parasite queen battle? Frigate Orpheon has a red and orange theme, not bluish. The only blue themed ships in Metroid are the Galactic Federation ships. (Yes I am aware that I am a Metroid Fanboy.)

@MrCodywt Ridley and the Queen are missing because this was a demo and, iirc, they hadn't gotten around to putting them in yet. As for them never playing MP, I can't say much except that it was a good attempt. Also being a Metroid fanboy isn't so bad. Join the club. ^-^

Why even bother? If you want to play a 2D Metroid game, play Super Metroid.

Thankfully enough, it doesn't seem frozen anymore - looks like they got some more spritework in just last month, on October 18th. Maybe this does have some hope after all. Although I bet you've been checking, so this may be a rather useless comment if so. Good for anyone who has interest in this project and wasn't sure whether it was still going or not, though.

Ah. Well, I'd say it's good news that this is still being worked on, because I honestly can'y emulate the original Prime (and I can only play it on the Trilogy version for my Wii ever so often FFFFFF-), and I friggin' love this game. 'Twould be a shame if this project just up and died...

I downloaded this game today and it looks better than this video, though the controls are a little awkward. Still, looks nice. I'm right before the Parasite Queen but I can't get the door to open since the room is different from how it is here.

I think the developers read our comments. Well, her moves are a little robotic, they should be more natural, like in Super Metroid. I hope they take more sounds and musics from the original Prime. There aren't explosion sounds in scape, there should be. About the wall jump and climbing floors, I don't know if they put, but surely should. Don't forget when the pirates shoot Samus and she loses her suit powers.

I played the demo, it's cool, but needs to be improved. Good job, I'll be waiting.

i played the demo too, the sprites and movement look odd in the video but in reality are really good. it's just the recording program itself, it's actually better.

Also, the project is not dead, some other guys are working on it with a brand new engine and making it even better.

This isn't too bad. The special FX were great, the only issue is that some sprites were..kind of odd and a few backgrounds were too, along with the doors. Other than that, everythings actually looking pretty fantastic so far. I definitely commend you on doing this.
