Socialism, Fascism, Communism, and Capitalism are all failed systems which reveal the fallacy of the monetary system. With a resource based economy there wouldn't be money involved in which to influence and create such retchedly, regressive polices that are trashing our world.
Air America! Are you kidding! Is anybody even listening? Wasnt this station part of the "bailout" cause of such LOW RATINGS? I mean if you liberals cared about being informed, then why do your channels and airwaves have such LOW RATINGS? You guys dont give a damn about truth!
Because we aren't as dependent as right wing foot soldiers on someone else to deliver us daily talking points. We're capable of developing our own opinions and doing our own research.
One of the reason the basic capitalism failed to deliver what it promises is that the share holder don't want a company CEO that pushes long term plan but they'd vote for CEO with short term profit. If I was the share holder, I would do the same, wouldn't you?
I don't have the answer to make them choose the CEO with the long term plan. Until then, it'll keep failing.
Why it works well in other companies like Toyota? It seems to have a long term goal and accepted by the share holder.
The ideological stance that government is good for nothing but policing and controlling a society is what landed us in this situation in the first place, it is certainly not what is going to solve the problem.
I think that either sector left to its own devices has the tendency towards corruption. I don't want the government solely responsible either. What might work best is for the government to take over on perhaps a five year plan, with the intention of turning control back over to the private sector once sufficient measurable goals had been achieved. What we need is creative thinking rather than the either/or automatic oppositions we're getting.
