Actually, if you take time to read the documents from our nation's beginning, it had everything to do with God. The earliest settlers thought so and left where they were from to get to a place where they might worship freely. Try get your philosophy lined up with reality rather than your dream world.

So, is fighting for the union fighting for the independence of state's rights? Don't get me wrong, slavery was definitely bad, and a good result from the Civil War was the beginning of tearing down those walls. However, did it open a Federal precedent to ignore the 10th amendment? Just wondering what you think.
