Not sure why people feel the need to judge others about what they ride or what is made. I think the Switchback is about the only 'authentic' Harley I will be able to ride. Times change. If you decide to buy only American, you will certainly enjoy your home canned food & the bicycle you make for youself. If you ride..good for you. No matter what it is.
I'm in Daytona...and I will go where I can get the best deal. I'm a tough sell...off to vacation and will maybe stop at Destination to just sit one. Will not get a good deal there...so just looking. Top heavy on the Boulevard....but meet me in the middle and we can talk.

what is It 16k? for 1500 bucks more for a road king standard in black with the new frame. I dont know..steep either way, and I am not fond how they outsource, I dont care If its a fucking coffee mug It should have made in the USA on It. let alone parts on the bike, love Harley and America, just not sure what direction either are going anymore. think I'll stick with my old BMW Airhead, with the Nikasil plated bores that look like brand new despite Its 41k miles.
I think its a smart move by HD get them in the door for a commute to work bike then a cruiser for the weekend. Don't forget the aftermarket gear to come...it's a money spinner
So you stop on Rocker and Crossbones, the only two authentic motorbikes on production...and start building this crappy thing? Not a Dyna...not a cruiser...not the pretended fatboy look alike...Well, its really difficult for me to see where Harley Davidson is going right now.
What's old is new again... reminds me of my 2000 Dyna Convertible (which I still have in my garage right next to my EG Ultra Limited. That bike would be great for a lot of people.

Plenty of size and weight. Not as fat as other Harleys. Looks classy to me.
