I`ve been a lifelong Doors fan, when me + my wife were in Paris I dragged her along to Pere Lachaise.....man, that gave me goosebumps seeing the grave...I swear I could hear this song playing in my head as i was standing there

Scene is almost the end of the film moved me, especially these lyrics about death even as far as I still thrilling, with clarity and without fear as described I would think so. Although I have another mine in which I say:

it used to look like that but one day on jims birthday a bunch of french kids got drunk on his grave and made it worse so they cleaned it up and the statue broke. i have a poster of what it really looked like the statue looked different. it was a different angle of jim

@t168 That's prob a good guess but more likely one of the many rumors about what happened to the bust. The Morrison family DID hire a cleaning svc of sorts to rmv the graffiti from the surrounding graves in 1994. The headstone was replaced about that time & it's all fenced off to this day. You can still get a good look, just have to way to get thru the crowd, they eventually move off.

Its from the album An American Prayer (circa 1978) the remaining members of the band added musical tracks to spoken-word recordings of Morrison reciting his poetry. In the movie it was remastered and re named Severed garden. But the original version is Albonini:Adagio.
