@bellacullen365 A friend of mine read the book. I believe she said that Elphaba was alergic to water. (Or something. I'm not sure, it was a while ago. Forgive me if I'm wrong. XD)

@cherrypop146 Oh, right--from what I've heard, the book is really different than the musical, so that's probably not the answer when it comes to the musical. In the musical, they (Elphaba and Fiyero) fake the whole "Melting" thing. (Sorry for any spoilers. X'3)

@cherrypop146 Continuing on the spoilers, according to the book, she displayed some sort of allergy to water, avoiding it (rain, crying, lakes) and it burned her skin like fire. In the musical it's just a rumor (in Thank Goodness) that she'll melt when exposed to water. In the book it's heavily implied that although she died, she would someday return.

i saw her she was a good actress and played the school girl fabulously but wasnt as good in the second act when she becomes more, well, wicked lol. shes a great singer but her defying gravity is nothing special lol, her contract runs out in march, wether they extend it or not i do not know but theres a rumour that SJB will replace her but iu doubt it lol x

I just saw the show last week thought she was AMAZING. She has a really nice voice. As for Diane Pilkington... not amazed by her. I found her voice to nasal for Glinda, plus the fact she seemed way to old to play a young perky character.

Don't get me wrong... the show IS AMAZING and I ate up every second of it. London's cast is great :)
