  • The big question is adobe CS5 will use any CUDA card or just the expensive ones, like quadroCX ?

because there are so many gaming cards which support CUDA, but adobe doesn't care about them (unlike Cyberlink, for example)

  • It's not that we dont care about them - We are doing extensive testing on the supported cards. It's more than just Cuda. Lots of differences in the various cards. The future is nVidias next round of cards called Fermi. These are due later in 2010.

  • Love everything. But more love that no need Render Queue

  • Full 64bit editing. Mercury Playback Engine. This is gonna turn the world of video editing on its head! No more waiting... cant wait for CS5. Gotta love technology... how it levels the playing field.

  • apple will really need to step it up a lot if they want to compete with this performance. ive been using FCP since v2.0 but this version of premiere with mercury is looking way too good and will make FCP look worse than it already is. cant wait for CS5 to hit the streets!!! dp
