Umm your dutch braid is called a cornrow. ... just so you know.

@SirCCakes that's incorrect :) cornrow adds hair to the middle strand and is much closer to the scalp. dutch lace add hair to the outer strand.

@MrVampirediaries96 yes it is :-) do a google search on ancient greek hairstyles and you will see historical paintings of Greek women who wore low, curly chignons with metal chains or a diadem. In addition they also wore twisted braids into buns.

I did this style, and I am having tremendous trouble getting the dutch braids coming along the front on my head to stand out at all. Once they hit the side of the head and I stop collecting pieces its fine. I think I'm braiding tight enough, so I'm not sure what it could be. I have almost black hair with few tones so maybe thats why? Either way it does not look near as nice without the braid showing up as well.

@MrTirby101 I have black hair too. And because my hair is silky/shiny, my braid usually doesn't look showy (my unbraid hair steals the spotlight! lol). If you have silky hair, try mattifying products. It works on me. Btw, sometimes when look in mirror, our braid doesn't look that great, but usually it actually is okay. Try take picture of it instead of look in mirror, or ask your friend to confirm this

I adore this style! I also love how you only need to curl the bottom of your hair, it saves on heat damage. i can't imagine to do this great style ever, i have long and very straight hair and i always feel that i have too little hands, i could use some more.

great video, but at the beginning, when you start to braid it's a bit difficult so see because you are almost out of the window. maybe you can show the start of braindings like this in a seperate video, and make it very slow so that i can watch every finger ;)

Hi! Since you mentioned the wrap'n'rolls, I was wondering if you or others have any advice - I bought mine on ebay as amazon won't ship to Australia or France. Found out why - the voltage is set at 110V and here and I believe most of Europe it's 220/240V - found this out when they started to fry!! Has anyone come across this problem, and have they found a suitable converter? How do you use yours in Germany BHB?

@lesyeuxgris hey so sorry i didnt get to this sooner, i didnt see it until now. i bought my rollers from the uk and i use a simple converter plug in. it works fine for me. I also have a full transformer at home but dont need that for the wrap n rolls.

Du hast das ein bisschen falsch erklärt. Der französische Zopf unterscheidet sich vom holländischen dadurch, dass die haare einmal über den zopf eingenommen werden und einmal drunter. der holländische zopf liegt praktisch auf den haaren und der französische drunter. kupferzopf hat dazu tolle videos.. :)

DIe Frisur ist SEHR SEHR TOLL :)
