I actually have this covergirl palette also and was kinda happy to see you using it because from since i bought it and used it once, i didnt like how bland the colors were. so i thought that since you're a pro you wud have a better outcome than i did. I love it! I did notice that the colours, esp, the light green were less pigmented and really needed to be packed on. Just to let you know that some of the more subdued makeup wearers out there love your work too!! i am one, (mostly because of my career choices don't allow me to wear a lot of colours) but I absolutely love watching your tutorials and wish I had somewhere to go so I could try them out!!!

The colors seem washed out compared to the MAC pigments you use...maybe that could be the reason the colors seem less intense. I noticed that you needed to apply more shadow to achieve the color result.

yes i really helps set the eyeliner, but omg i rarely do it cause , at least for me, when that shadow gets in your eye it is the most irritating slightly paintfull thing! so now i know to use a tiny brush lol:)

I love all of your makeup ideas. (i'm a fan of false lashes too.) I'm only 17, but i've loved makeup since I was tiny. I have this quad, and you have to layer it a bit to get it more intense. I love the blue. i mix it with hot pink or neon green. Another thing that works is dipping a brush in saline solution, it makes the colors pop. but, you have to keep your eye shut until it dries so it doesn't get a huge crease in it or look cakey

some of cover girl's quads/eye enhancers are pretty awful. i have one of their quads and the sparkley blue color in one of their quads, look soooo chalky on me! there's glitter everywhere and it looks a hot ass mess.

that's why i stick to more expensive brand eyeshadows because alot of the pigment in cheaper brands are bad. the only drugstore makeup that is really good is L'Oreal's HIP shadows.

FYI.. For those that have a hard time with purchasing the MAC products that QOB uses... Try the 88 or 120 pal by costal sents ... their just as pigmented and they have all the colors that you could think of (and some that you might not have) and they can be as cheap as $25 for the whole pal. The gold of the tutorials are to show you technique. You don't have to use the same products.

I'm as white as they come and this quad looks super vibrant on my skin, I personally love it. It's great for me seeings as I refuse to spend money on MAC products x]

The way I use it is by putting a gold in the inner corner, then green on the lid and the blue for the outer corner.

I have this quad and love it, I used it differently though, with the light green as a highlight, the peach color on the inner corner, the green on the lid and the blue on the outer corner, I actually like it better that way, but this way is very pretty as well. I use concealer on my eye when I use it though, I think the colors stand out better when I do lol.
