  • 406 on rear is a NPCU (Non-Powered Control Unit). It only provides electrical power and can control a powered locomotive. Not sure if you knew that. Nice video and the Heartland Flyer route is a nice scenic trip.

  • No I wasn't sure about that, thanks for the update. The route through Big Canyon is, in my opinion, the most scenic part.
