  • And you believe in a book that MAN wrote thousand of years ago.......

  • this guy is a complete idiot.

  • I am praying for you guys. I get scared just looking at some of the videos.

  • @pthomas2009

you pray for me, i'll think for you

  • Ray, science says that you *can* get something from nothing, in fact quantum mechanics demands it.

Now even if it didn't, we *still* wouldn't have grounds for claiming that "god did it", because we would be committing the argument from ignorance fallacy.

Ray Comfort is so dumb and so wrong, and it pains me to hear his self righteous enthusiasm in his voice. If only *he* would stop and think about what he is talking about.

  • Why is this malevolently uninformed retard at comic con?

  • @Bleumange Maybe she came to show off her pink hair?

  • @OneEyedJack1970 I guess.

  • She self refuted..."I don't believe in God I don't believe in anything." Question? Does she believe that? Yes. Then watch brother Ray ask.."Do you BELIEVE they universe came nothing and that nothing created everything?" Her reply..."Exactly" So guess what. She does believe in something. Wow, the self refutations of atheists is just amazing.

  • @Christistruth1 the self refutations of christians are even more amazing.

  • @SCRulerShinoda Are you challenging me? Go ahead.

  • @Christistruth1 you're an idiot.

  • @Bleumange That's your refutation??? lol. It's circular logic..."I don't believe in anything." Do you believe that? "Yes" Then you do believe in something.

  • @Christistruth1 You're clearly too idiotic to look past wording. Comfort was the one who suggested it, trying to mislead or smear her. Now, if you were to be blunt about it, he's asking her whether she believes that the big bang theory will find sufficient evidence to be stated as hard fact. You can't admit to your own circular logic and yet you attempt to smear other people with it without defending it.

  • @Bleumange Does she believe that what she believes is true? You fail to look at it psychologically and philosophically. No, that is not what he's asking her. Her's what's funny..'Do you believe in anything?" Answer: "No"...Is it true that you don't believe in anything? "Yes". Do you believe that you don't believe in anything is true?" Yes"....so you do believe in something. You believe that you don't believe in anything. Circular logic, yes, but self refuting. ;)

  • @Christistruth1 Why do you assume she was trying to have a gravely serious philosophical conversation?

She said this: I don't believe in "God", I don't believe in anything (religion).

Ray Comfort's question: So you "believe" that nothing created everything?

Her answer is not of "blind faith towards science" (as creotards put it), she simply answers his question bluntly without changing the verb or correcting his strawman.

  • @Bleumange Her answer is blind faith, 1. She said she didn't believe in anything, NOTHING. 2. She then says she believed that nothing created everything. So contradicting her first statement. 3. It is blind faith because you haven't proven that nothing created everything. You assume it. At least Hawkings does. ;)

  • @Christistruth1 I ADORE oversimplification, straw mans, and complete disregard of what I've been saying to you all this time. Have a good day in your bubble of ignorance.

  • @Bleumange And you disregard what I say to you. SO? My bubble of ignorance? lol. Nice one there my friend. You fail to see her circular reasoning and your biased accusations. Good day.

  • @Christistruth1 I ceased the conversation because you repeated your mantra, completely unaffected by my comment. Thus, I decided it to be directionless. If I disregarded what you said to me, I wouldn't even be having this conversation, or I'd be trying to hammer it in, instead of giving up.

  • @Bleumange Then cease, and be true to your own word. Goodbye.

  • @Christistruth1 You disgust me.

  • @Bleumange That's a subjective point of view, as if my life hinges on your disgust of me? No. You can't even be true to yourself. Goodbye.

  • @Christistruth1 If my feeling of disgust was objective, I would have stated so. Simply not being able to see through wording to comprehend a tiny speck of an interview in which a person has unwittingly succumbed to Ray's dark magic, is blind and ignorant. As stated in your unchanging response to my explanation. Now stop having the last word without considering what I've said before irrationally succumbing into insults (which I entered into due to futility).

  • @Bleumange Yes, but you can't state it so, therefor there's not real truth to it. lol @ "dark magic". You failed to comprehend my point. That's your fault not mine. You're the one who believes this is useless. Then your argument is futile. Therefor has no real meaning. Only to you, as if that matters. Goodbye.

  • @Christistruth1 This is stupid. The only reason why we're discussing it is because Ray's a malevolent idiot who plays around words to spin his own agenda.

  • @Bleumange Okay it's stupid, do you feel better? Do you feel like you're right and vindicated now? Because someone agrees with your thought process?

  • The last question was completely retarded. No one ever said nothing created everything, where did he get that from?

  • @Scotkill /watch?v=_vlvZ_oqV1w

  • @thewayofthemaster Do you know what nothing actually means? If not don't fall back on that video to help your argument. To us nothing means nothing, but in science nothing is technically a something, so nothing didn't create everything. Where as a Theist argument is a God created everything, but he's eternal, so your argument IS that nothing created everything. You claim God as a something, so he can't be eternal. If he's not a something, he can't exist. I may have made a mistake somewhere PMme

  • @thewayofthemaster Well done, you linked @Scotkill to a biased Christian video *trying* to explain what atheist think. Atheist don't have a belief. It's the LACK OF belief. You can't group atheists into one group, they can all have different opinions. Just like there isn't a name for people who don't believe in the tooth fairy or Santa Claus... I'd rather believe everything came from nothing than a man made celestial dictator creating everything in this imperfect, harsh and volatile universe.

  • @thewayofthemaster But the point is that there is reason to believe the nothing to everything theory because there is some work that has gone into it. Not the "faith" argument that involves (by it's very nature!) NO EVIDENCE. Science moves with what it finds, if anything, Scientists have more chance of finding a creator or a God in this universe than any deluded, gullible and ignorant theist who stultify themselves with ignorance. We are all atheists, only I believe in one less God than you d0.

  • wow whats with all the random angry atheists? why are you all so defensive and rude? being rude doesn't prove your side in the least. it just makes you look rude. and ray wasn't saying TF thinks its ok to kill babies. he was asking when do you think life starts. very different

  • @sarahanne102106 Well then watch the interview and see if this cut was honest. Tell me then if Ray thinks it is right or wrong to do an abortion, tell me if he woukd kill a baby if his name was Adolf Hitler.

If this start of life isn't about abortion then what is it all about? Tell me honestly what someone that sees this video only thinks seying that particular cut.

And please don't assume I'm an atheist. There are christians who don't agree with your view of the Bible you know...

  • @edgarrsoares whoa there buddy you have no idea what i believe. so lets draw back a sec...Ray believes, as do I that abortion is wrong. I believe life starts at conception. And no of course no matter the baby, murder is murder. its all wrong. its very cut and dry. I am not Ray, but I am a firm believer and follwer of Jesus Christ. His word is nothing but truth. Ray Comfort's whole ministry is based on the word of God and His law. Commandment #6- You shall not murder.

  • @sarahanne102106 Actually Ray believes you can kill someone if you know it will save lives or if your loved ones life is in geopardy. If one believes literally in the Bible one can't have that. That's not "You shall not murder", that's "You shall not murder unless...". And that's no different from TF position in this subject.

  • @sarahanne102106 One thing I can tell you. I would find very hard to not to murder someone and to love him if he would try to kill a son of mine. But I'm a sinner. I don't pretend to be a righteous person or to know all the answers.

  • @edgarrsoares we are all sinners. its not about knowing all the answers or being good. salvation isnt earned its a gift. everyone has a choice. and hey i have two boys. of course its not ok if someone tried to hurt them. but you asked if i thought it was ok to kill the baby version of Hitler. and of course i would say no. i dont know how he came to be a monster. but i know we all have a choice. as an adult he chose evil. everyone has a choice and the blessing of free will to make that choice.

  • @sarahanne102106 You seem to be reasonable. That's not what I hear from Ray. He believes he knows the answers. He believes he knows the difference between right and wrong. It's black and white for him. Christians are good, atheists are bad. He would kill the baby Hitler but contradicts himself because the Bible is, every ounce of it, true.

He is not a good person to preach about God.

  • @edgarrsoares look, ray would NOT kill baby hitler. lol. "vengeance is mine thus says the Lord" and ray is not going by HIS own answers, but by scripture, conviction, prayer, and fellowship. he doesnt believe christians are good and atheists are bad. if you listen closely to the good person test (which was firmed performed by Jesus Christ) you will hear that NO ONE is good. only God is good which is why we so desperately need his mercy, grace & salvation. again its not about our goodness

  • @sarahanne102106 Really? Did you see the video of the TF interview?

  • @edgarrsoares but God's goodness. its not about Oh youre evil! and im not! let me rub it in ur face. its look at the truth, i dont want harm to come to you. please see the truth. repent, accept the Lord, and He will reveal His many truths and wonders. good debate. thanks for being respectful :) i encourage you to open the bible and read the word. if you dont believe, find out why you dont. an intelligent person always studies both sides in their entirety. take care.

  • @sarahanne102106 Please, I'm Confirmed in the Catholic Church. I study more than both sides, you might find it if you read my first comments in this video. I don't think you saw all evidences.

Faith is the way to Jesus, not absolute truths, not even the "I know the Bible is true" thing. And maybe you would like to think Ray shares the same views as you but you're wrong.

Believe in God, yes, but don't shut your eyes and ears to reality.

    All good things.

  • @edgarrsoares ok, i didnt say truths are the way to Jesus. and being confirmed in the catholic church doesnt mean you are right with God. moreover, there is much i disagree with you about. but as i have a family, i cant hang on here and debate with you all day. but i would encourage you to keep seeking the Lord, and be respectful to those you do not agree with. as Jesus said "Love thy neighbor" take care

  • @sarahanne102106 I was referring to the words of Ray, not yours.

In any case you would encourage you too to seek life's answers and to not to look to the Bible in one way only and even to look at more than the Bible. There are much more then two sides as I mentioned before.

    Peace be with you.

  • @edgarrsoares . i am a free thinking, problem solving, truth seeking individual who has seen and learned enough from this world to know what is true and real and what is not. from a non christian family, a non christian school and a non christian life. i know beyond a shadow of a doubt, "It is written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained on bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God"Matthew 4:4

  • @sarahanne102106 And I know nothing in a "Cogito ergo sum" kind of way. You know too much. One thing is to have faith, another one is to know. That's a kind of rhetoric in the American Christian community different from the European rhetoric that I think, and I'm not the only one, it's completely wrong.

And that's the main reason why you, the ones who know, get in trouble, not with atheists really, but with science.

  • more over, if you do not believe the word of God is the whole truth, every ounce of it, you are not a Christian.

  • @sarahanne102106 Well it's my view and the view of the preasts I know that we have to look at the Bible as divinely inspired but writen by man, so, subject to error. Also, it's wrong to assume Historical correctness from the Bible because that was not the purpose of it.

So, that's definetly not a correct definition of a Christian.

  • *priests*. I'm dyslexic today...

  • Ray and his amazing ability to straw man...unbelievable.

  • The legendary banana man always entertaining :)

  • Ah, Thunderf00t and Ray Comfort meet again!

  • Man! You should be ashamed to manipulate the video interview to act as if TF thinks it's OK to kill babies! He did say he was fundamentally AGAINST abortion!

That's so unjust and unchristian it makes me sick!

Better go and confess your sins Ray!

  • @edgarrsoares Atheists are the saddest most hopeless people on earth.

  • @HermannTheGreat What?? Ray is a liar, a sinner and acts outside the teachings of Jesus but I hardly would call him a Atheist... Maybe his actions are more in service of the "father of all lies", maybe he lost his way, but still he surely is a Christian.

  • Ray keeps lying about the 'nothing created everything' bit.

He is unwilling to understand what the scientists mean when they say 'nothing'.

  • @MrMarcofowler It's a question of infinite regress. What do you think they mean when scientists say "nothing?"

  • @drtollett They mean that the universe is a "zero sum" universe. In the inflationary theory, matter, antimatter, and photons were produced by the energy of the false vacuum, which was released following the phase transition. All of these particles consist of positive energy. This energy, however, is exactly balanced by the negative gravitational energy of everything pulling on everything else. In other words, the total energy of the universe is zero!

  • @MrMarcofowler You're speaking of energies balancing out one another in the present. The question to be answered is how the first energy materialized. And yes, I've heard and seen where peers say the universe developed from "nothing."

  • @MrMarcofowler So, what do "

scientists" mean when they say "nothing"?

  • Well @DCoonie, if there is no time then you can't say nothing can you? If there is no space then you can't also say nothing. Science talks about singularity, a point where every matter and energy and space and time is coming to be. That's surely not nothing.

    Scientists DO NOT say nothing.

  • @MrMarcofowler When scientists say nothing they don't mean nothing? It's so complicated this evolution theory.

  • @Cookey77 You know, Cookey, I understand about Christianity and the Bible and about Mormons, protestants and other churches, I was educated in moral and tolerance and all of Jesus teachings. I've investigated about eastern religions in particular the bases of Buddhism but also Hinduism. I also studied ancient european religions, the romans, the greeks, the egyptians, mesopotamia, the first years of chirstianism and islamism... These were all part of my happy upbring.

  • @Cookey77 ... And since I followed a scientific path in school, I learned about Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, History and some. Over all those disciplines I learned about Evolution, Big Bang theory, Genetics and what not.

So when I see someone mixing evolution with the big bang theory I cannot help to think that that person has to be a school dropout.

  • @Cookey77 ... You don't have yet the necessary tools or knowledge to discuss even the basis of evolution or cosmological theories. I doubt you have a grasp of what is science. I doubt moreover you even had taken the time to read the Bible from beginning to end.

Go educate yourself and then come back.

  • @edgarrsoares Thanks for the patronising put down bro. Keep up the good work.

  • Hmmm, the video was posted on July 26, 2011 and it claimed to depict events filmed on August 1, 2011.

  • @Helpmeknowthings The date is taken from the weekly e-mail Update in which this BTS clip is posted.
