Who cares how he got the HIV. H is a kind person to think of others by admitting that he did not want to infect others. He is brave and kind hearted to even speak about his personal issues that he's going through. A lot of countries dont treat prisoners like humans so maybe they used a dirty needle in the past to take his blood. perhaps a dirty needle was used on him way before he went to prison. A lot of muslim countries prisoners do not fuck each other like they do in the western world.

I don't believe him. He appears effeminate. I doubt he has any interest in women at all but for him to admit that would be a bigger problem than HIV in a muslim country despite the rampant practice of men pleasuring themselves with beardless boys who then grow up to be confused men. What's the point of how he got it. That fact is that he has, he knows he has it, and he does not want to spread it to another human being. That is all the honesty that we need to know from him.

And please realize this: most people who have HIV don't know it. Now that is a scary fact.

How he got it is very important if we're going to do something about it. Certain behavior accounts for the vast majority of HIV infections. We need to know why and how. If everyone lies for the sake of saving face what good is that. In Africa the vast majority of HIV infections are from heterosexual contact and Africa has 40% HIV cases worldwide according to the WHO. Conspiracy theories abound as to how this took place but lies and LIARS only cause more confusion. Time for TRUTH.

You are only partially right about the first sentence.. However, how he got it is important to those who don't have it and who don't want to get it.

You don't need to school me on any stats, I do work in a lab routinely test for the virus.

Back to the guy in this video, he says he got it from needles and we can only take him on his word unless you personally know him and his habits. He says he was diagnosed back 1992 which means he could have gotten it when dirty needles was still a problem.

The fact is that you don't know how he contracted it. The fact is that HIV/AIDS is not an exclusive gay disease. The fact is condemnation, prejudgment, and homophobia are among the main reasons why some people choose to remain the shadows and not get tested and, therefore, continue to spread the disease.

Don't get me wrong...I believe in freedom of speech. You can speculate all you won't. But if what you are saying is incorrect or misleading, then I will challenge you on it.

The irony is homosexuality is rampant in their society while they preach total intolerance of it. You actually have a point regarding hypocrisy. And that is something that Islamic countries will have an even harder to wrestling with than most non-Islamic countries. But that hypocrisy is not unique.

And I did take issue with the gay thing because of your mentioning the guy was effeminate. You brought that up, not me. I just addressed your assertion. The fact is HIV/AIDS is not just a gay disease as much as it is not just an African or "Western" disease.

I brought it up to substantiate my doubt of his explanation, Nothing more. I also quoted the stats regarding Africa to show I know it's not an exclusively gay disease.
