  • this kid gets o much pussy i bet

  • featuring kenny g, dave koz and kaori kobayashi backing tracks. go to saxophonebackingtracks com. they have tons!

  • i wouldnt want a bad vid of me playing that poorly on my channel

  • amogo plays very well, only lacks taste, mood, practice more

  • check out some of my originals on my channel as i play the saprano

  • @SaxaphoneDork765 Bullshit. I looked and you have nothing whatsoever on your channel.

  • improv or memorized??

  • ugh too many people learn from kenny g's embouchure, on the side of the mouth. Nonetheless, an AWESOME performance, you even made the soprano sax actually sound like a SAX!

  • Tenor awesome solo instrament

soprano-big fan but not many parts for middle school band

    right?

  • beast

  • Nice! i want to learn to play soprano even more now but my band teacher doesnt feel it would be necessary for concert band next year at the highschool.

  • join jazz

  • Well, soprano can double oboe parts sometimes.... so just get rid of the oboe player, and you'll be on your way. =D

  • Lol true true

  • Nice but your articluation was a bit off mate

  • good improvisation

  • Some vibrato would be nice. Though seeing as he looks like he is in High School and if he really is improvising that was great. Still, certain saxophones have certain things going for them. I typically see it as.

    Tenor - Growl

    Alto - Glissandos

Soprano - Vibrato and Short Trills

Baritone - (Can't think of anything.)

Although everyone should obviously try and use all of these.

  • Growl was my favorite thing to learn, I love it in blues/rock solos...

  • Baritone - Shreds through everything

  • Or Bass even. But sadly very expensive. :'(

  • dang u were showin them!!!

  • soprano could have made it more interesting but its ok...i just would have put in a few other things(trills) Opinion.. ^^ good job

  • Is it possible that you are confusing Trills w/ Glissando's? In improv it is very rare to ever hear an actual trill for more than a half a beat. Good Job though! I liked it! but don't be afraid to (as I like to call it w/ a soprano or clari) "Noodle" over the top w/ those higher ranges!

  • well yeah anybody could try to make it more interesting, but keeping it simple and in key is more impressive to the people that know what you're doing. sure some parents or friends who don't get it wouldn't be impressed, but they don't have to be. they aren't playing the instruments therefore THEY are the losers.

  • Dude, you are good. Don't let anyone on youtube tell you otherwise. Your tone is good plus it's good to hear you've incorporated more than just blues modes.

  • lose the glasses

  • Its ok....

  • your improvs are awesome really interesting stuff

  • don't use the glasses again. horible. and your sax may be, too..

  • is that a high school jazz band

  • pietoso.....togliti gli occhiali faccia da pirla!!

  • nice performance!

  • Now that I look at the shades more carefully, it does look kind of like the shades that Charles Dingus wore. Doesn't anyone agree?

  • Oh. Sorry about the shades. I have very sensitive eyes. And I forgot to take them off.

  • Great Job !! I like the 60's feel.

  • not bad!! the shades kinda messed up the whole suit thing.

  • youre like really good, but thats really annoying too. sorry but a little too show offy. but anyway youre going to make it big or do something big one day, good luck

  • i like your sound but whats with the shades? jazzers don't do stuff like that.

  • if jazzers jumped off the bridge, do he have to jump off too?
