All car companies have some sort of variable valve timing or toyota with duration lift- celica gt-s. Neat technology but still bullshit compared to an 800hp katech powered corvette. And as for my name the only honda i own is a cbr 1000

Guys for the record. VTEC just means the valves are variably timed. Its just a name. Just about every manufacturer uses it in a some of their cars or in Infinit's case, all of their cars. Having said that, could the Corvette improve itself if it used variable valve timing, yes of course (could use a lot more updated technology), but saying, "my Civic has VTEC" is like saying my sandwich has pickles on it - so do a lot of sandwiches.

@donperrignon vtec is different from most. it can adjust duration and lift of cams, most systems can only twist the camshaft(s) a bit relative to the engine. and i think the ls7 does have some form of variable valve timing, not sure though.

Yes it is. And your C6 Z06 corvette can sound like that too if send it to Callaway, the folks who build the FIA GT3 Z06.R---btw it only has about 530hp compared to stock 505hp. There is no motor work done to this car besides computer tuning.

I already have a 4WD conversion done to get more then 300bhp but how do you create a tuned car sound to aproach something such as this magnatitude? Is it full race exhaust? camshaft? forged pistons?

Then you'll be up to about 9000hp to the wheels.

My 4WD drive is getting done now so and after that Im having the GT FOUR engine competly rebuilt with performance parts and forged pistons, rapid spool turbo ect ect.  Fucking expensive though lol
