the ending is one of the most intense, motivating, exhilarating parts of any song ive ever heard. when it starts to fade is when it gets the most epic and when its time to start the volume upward climb:)
@raphater2000 Nothing, it's just some kids don't appreciate what Priest has done for Metal. Some of them don't even listen to Priest. That's when some metalheads get mad. I'm a HUGE Priest fan, and A7X is cool, just remember to know your roots.
@LedZeppelin2055 Priest has done a LOT for metal. Bands like A7X wouldn't exist without Priest. Some kids don't appreciate anything. I definitely know my roots.
@raphater2000 The fact A7X is a shitty, commercial Metalcore* band that sooner belongs in the same trash with the Jonas Brothers and Black Veil Brides than they do in any Metal discussion?
*Commercial Metalcore isn't even close to Metalcore, let alone Metal.
"Sin after Sin" is one of my 3 favourite 70s Judas Priest LP with the follow up "Stained Class" and it's quite rare to be fan of their very first album by Judas called "Rocka Rolla" really rocks... but differently than later stuff...it's only made for people open to the early 70s music scene... and not just for modern metal fanatics...
I don't know why, but theres something about Tony Iommi's tone thats so horrible... yet so awesome. But yeah, I like Glenn's and KK's tone in S.a.S. a lot. =P
Great song, great riff, cool sci-fi lyrics, awesome drums. Judas Prest were true pioneers. No one was doing this in1977 with all the diso BS was popular.
@dutter1983 Listen to "set me free" from the album desolation blvd by "the sweet" and tell me that doesn't kick ass too! Pre-metal fathers weren't just JP
I can only imagine how amazing this must have been in 1977 and don't get me wrong I love the song and JP, but MY GOD did Arch enemy make a good job. I'm just saying. :)
This song was so far ahead of its time... 1977? Great song, great riff. Simon Phillips pussed out when he didn't join Priest. He never did anything near as good as this.
@DosXX09 S. Phillips was and still is a session musician. He was brought in to play on this album simply as that. There never was any intention of him joining Priest.
I still love it man 2012

NEWSFLASH:
Old DOES NOT equal good (important, but it's not like you HAVE to like it)
Good is DOES NOT exist. It's either well-written, cool or stuff like that and ALWAYS subjective.
Scene DOES NOT have anything to do with A7X, metalcore, let alone metal.
You ''real metal'' fucks (which does not exist btw) are the just such whiny bitches as scene-emokids, or mainstream people...
There is no such thing as a 'better' version, you either like it, or you don't.
I enjoy music, you should try it too.

There is not such thing as "equality" either. Judas Priest has no equal.
