I just realized...I am not very good with a recorder...Then again, mine is wooden, and one of the notes won't even play correctly half of the time...All I get is a screeching sound... :(

@TerminaSavior I do believe that the wooden ones give off a slightly different sound.

the Screeching noise you hear comes from either a hole that is not correctly blocked by one of you fingers, breathing too hard, or a crack in the recorder somewhere.

@Ichizarou Well, to be more accurate, mine is more of a cheap souvenir one. I got from a field trip last year to the...I think it was called the Ocmulgee Trail, so its not exactly a well tuned instrument or anything.

pfff~~ I don't really remember... but not too long actualy, maybe half a month to learn ''Lonely Shepherd'' and then one whole to learn both ''Loneliness'' from naruto and ''Morning'' from naruto. but still I learned the opening song from ''Koihime'' on the panpipes very first, that took half a month too.

But then again ^^ My whole family is of musicians so I've got the genes to help ^^
