  • hey

id like to buy a new sound system like a z4 oder z2300, any tipps what i should get?(since they arent anymore on the market)

  • mac, xbox, and logitech z2300/z5500! i like this guy

  • is that your phone vibrating like that?? the entire video there is a vibration sound.. god damn

  • what's the tool you use to remove the grill? have the same system but will not remove the grill somehow.

  • really want 5500.. But i'll buy 2300

  • you shoud buy a hex key set to take off the grill :)

  • @31085265 yes. because the punch didn't work.

  • you cant wait for things.....typical american

  • Ugh he has a mac D:

  • nice carpet.

  • @divineclown mmhm, its retro :D

  • why do you remove rhe grill is the bass then better?

  • @MrLorenzooo no you can see it when you take it off (it makes no difference

  • the sub does no hit the grill-.- i have this system my self

  • You should play PS3 instead of xbox :D

  • gay voice!!!!!

  • @strjony You are gay...

  • are you getting a new text every second of this video? I can hear a constant vibration sound comming from your video

  • Why did you take off the grill? :O

  • @mimmipopo965

if you don't, and you put the volume to maximum, you have the chance, the sub will hit the grill

  • @joostiie no?, have the z5500 and have 100% volyme and it dont hit the grill

  • @mimmipopo965

    i'm talking about the z2300.

  • @joostiie aha :S... xD, ops xD

  • @mimmipopo965 ur sound card must suck then

  • @kayyyyyy94 YES!!!, but you dont need a very good sound card to z-5500 ^^, but... i will soon buy a better

  • What happens if I change my Logitech Z-5500 front speakers by the Philips MCM-595 speakers? I mean, just the front ones, NOT surrounds. Cause the philips are 2-way (2in. tweeter, 6,5in. woofer) they're 4 Ohms. Would I damage anything?

  • @kynigh

It would probably fuck up the amp, because the speakers would draw more power.

  • jesus z 2300 in my country 250$ and 5500 is 500$

  • @krvav1 australia?

  • Hey how did you connect both subwoofers together? I have the z-2300 & z-5500 Logitech speaker sytems as well but don't know how to connect both subwoofers. Also, Are you only using the z-5500 speakers with both subwoofers or do you have both the z-5500 & 2300 speaker systems (subwoofers and speakers) hooked up? Thanks.

  • @420DoWork get a speaker splitter

  • you talk like a "valley girl" Nice beats for your gay clubbing.

  • can you plug any 2.1 sound system into the z5500 remote pad via 3.5mm output, the z2300 for example?? if so thats aweesome, and nice vid man thanks

  • i read that taking the grill off voids your warranty. is that true?

  • @q62fm No, I just send the z 5500 to service cuz problem with the bass. I took the grill of. but i took it back on when i send it in. they don't care. but if I where you i would not take the grill off !

  • I just got the Z-5500... I'm loving it!!

  • @kynigh 2003 or 2002 audio system still being the best in 2011

  • @FOGoticus Yeah, that's true.

  • @FOGoticus

Its not a cars that every year you have new model and things....

  • 9 minutes of bullshit...

  • lolzwat.

  • Nice review. I got the 2300 refurbished on ebay for only $60 and I love them. They sound awesome and I've had them over a year now. I never heard the 5500's but I'm thinking about buying a set of those in the future. They look like they would sound really nice!

  • dude is it worth it to return my 2300 and get 5500. i need them mostly for movies. i mean do 5500 produce better sound quality or they are just louder and 5.1?? do 5500 have better midrange (vocals) or its the same as 2300?

    Thanks

  • @andreas7portoleone yea same also TMWarMoth how are the z5500's for music?

  • @poobearpanda345 really bad for music, if you want something good for music go with m audio av40 which are perfect. if you want loads of power go with the edifier s730

  • @andreas7portoleone thanks! if ill probably get different speakers to the z5500 but what you give the z2300's for music out of ten and also what would u give the z5500's out of ten for music?

  • @poobearpanda345 because if it's okayish i MIGHT get them. i need good movie speakers

  • @poobearpanda345 ok with the logitechs you will be impressed with the subwoofer. its huge and very powerfull. z-2300 have tighter and stronger than 5500. for music z-2300 are much better. z-5500 are used more for gaming and movies because of the DTS. But they both lack in vocals (mids). I ll give z-2300 a 7 out of 10 and z-5500 a 6 out of ten for music. You can get much better quality speakers such as M audio AV40 with have close price to z-2300 or M audio BX5a which are the best. Its up to you

  • @poobearpanda345 Not that good, awful if ur an audiophile, but very good for movies and games.

  • @vintages0ul nah, i got the z-5500's and they are great for music. just set the effect on them to stereo x2 and they sound godlike.

  • Just for laptop speakers, which one will be better? If i got the z5500 i will connect it to optical so i get the best experience, but for music which one should i get?

  • @timboss12 I have the z-2300. they are very very loud i dont really like the sound they produce although they have very good subwoofer but the satellites lack of midrange (vocals). I was thinking to return them to amazon and get the z-5500 to connect them to my macbook but i havent decided yet. If you are going to listen to music loud they re good. but they lack to lows and mids. Probably the z-5500 should be better.

  • Can anyone tell me why z5500 is £200 and then on another page it's £360 on Amazon? Thanks.. :)

  • @timboss12 buch ah rip offs

  • @timboss12 because its not amazon selling them for 360 its another seller and amazon is just promoting them. they are 200 from amazon.

  • Just wait until you get into real hi-fi. These systems will sound like the nastiest tin cans you've ever heard compared to quality speakers. I started with the z-2300, I ended up with a 5.1 setup of Boston Acoustics floorstanding speakers and a homebuilt 2x12s sub.

A good set of bookshelf speakers will yield you much better sound than the z-2300. But, of course, that's not practical for everyone.

  • @MrJamesonStyles i totally agree!!! i spent $185 on a pair of sony apm-33w speakers and they put these plastic logitec speakers to shame! i have the vids on my profile if u wanna take a look

  • @Haskeo ur a f@g and u dont know anything about audio ur a little faggit kid. those sony speakers suck dick especially for $185 so dont talk shit!!!! nice speakers there a beast dont listen to little faggits!!!

  • @Subarufan2010 you are a total retard....you clearly is the one who knows nothing about high end audio. ask anyone and they will tell you that hifi audio is WAY better sounding than anything computer speakers. in case u didn't know the sony apm series was one of the best speakers sony ever produced sound quality is crystal clear and the bass will blow the z5500 out of the water at just 1/4 volume. they originally sell for over $1000 now go find urself a decent hifi system b4 u talk shit to me

  • @Subarufan2010 if you think that logitec makes the best speakers in the world you are clearly insane. there is a reason why people pay thousands for a nice set of hifi speakers but won't spend three hundred on a pair of computer speakers.do you honestly think that the plastic speakers of the logitec can produce better sound than solid wood cabinets that are tuned to a specific frequency? you really need to go to a speaker store and learn about high end audio.

  • @Haskeo go get a new camera im not saying ther bad that wasent me anywase that was my freind i love sony apm i have the same ones that u have ther awsome i have the logitech to. the quality of the apms are better but the bass is better on the logitech!!! and i do know audio i work at audio plus in az

  • @Subarufan2010 well i recored the vid with my phone so the quality is pretty shitty but i think it depends on what amp u use for the apm's cuz with the set up i have right now i think the bass sounds heavier than the Logitechs....cuz the ones i have are dual 10 inch woofer drivers. i know some other apm speakers have 9 inch drivers but either way with hifi speakers what matters most is how good ur amp is so i won't be too judgmental...

  • Why is he removing and puttin back the gril all the time. what is the point?

  • @raptor1992 he takes it off so that we can see the excursion of the sub, and puts it back on to keep out harmful stuff from it.

  • the zcinemas are better than the z2300

  • @aathavan1234, how can they be better with 50 W less?

  • @al3x440 because they have 2.1 surround sound and there HD

  • @aathavan1234, true surround is 5.1 my friend, the z cinema just simulates 5.1 on a 2.1 set, so still, z-2300 shits on the z cinema

  • Why do you remove the grill when you put it right back on?

  • Both are good systems. I use the Z-2300 for music and the Z-5500 for movies and games.

  • to bad u cant buy the driver used in the z-5500 sadly u cant even get the z-2300s driver wicth it on TB's website

  • *puts it back on* thats the grill... its my first time takin it off

    lmao

  • Let me ask you something........Try recording from out site your house and slowly walk in ur room.

(Your Neighbour is going to be insane)

  • the z-2300 are more better than the z-5500

the z2300 are qualitativ better ;)

  • to people that likes low bass i recommend the z-2300 the z-5500 just starts smell and make a hard beat noise not the low bass

  • just ordered it of amazon... doing a xmas deal for 199!!

  • @MrDjDiversity hi. i'm in the uk and i just looked on amazon.com and they were 340 dollars

  • what if the sub was connected to the grill... by the glue thats why you need dryer :P

  • i got the logitech z-560 =D

  • i got 2 z5500 connected to my pc

  • These are great speakers, and the compatability is extremely useful!

I have them hooked up to my tv (via the optical link) so anything that connects to the tv can use them (laptop, xbox360), I use the 3.5mm jacks to connect to my PC. Perhaps my only criticism is that I find the optical input seems to reduce the maximum volume of the speakers, they are much louder using the direct 3.5mm jacks, which isn't so bad i suppose since i use the optical for movies. Overall very good speakers :)

  • Can we hook up more speakers or an extra sub to a Z 5500

  • i have question! i got my z-2300 last month.... my question is once you took of the grill can you still put it back..?

  • @1993jino Yes

  • It's not quality speakers and the sound is crap if you have listened to high quality speakers. But it is good for 15 year old basement dwellers.

  • I've got a z5500 and a z2300 and 2300 is on top and there both playing will the vibrations harm z5500?

  • as you have connected the two systems together? and are connected to the PC?

  • hjj

  • You fuck.. you don't compare 5.1 to 2.1, its obvious that the 5.1 is better but! i stick with the 2300 because its the best speaker avaliable with only one 3.5 mm jack

  • @BENBOOST9 lucky you, cause they cost about 320 euros i here (NOT WORTH PRICE] i can just buy 2 z-2300's and it'll be stronger than the z-5500 :)

  • i have the z2300, i want to upgrade to z5500 is it worth it ?

  • @israeldogfather yes i have it and it´s away muck better

  • @BENBOOST9 u kiddin me ? LOL

  • i got my logitech z5500s today and the bass is no where near as good as the z2300s why is that? its defo not defective as bass tester are alright oh and love lockdown is meh whereas on my z2300 is overpowering

  • @ali050792 don't turn you're z-5500 to much up when you get it, play low and get it warm, and after a week just playing low, you notice that the z-2300 is shit.... z-5500 pwns

  • @RsDkPK na honeslyty man only bass testers are good lol i posted some videos a millie is very bad vs Burning up......look at it maybe but to be honest it does produce distortion free bass whereas the z2300 was pushing it

  • @ali050792 my z-5500 hits freaking hard, i'll maybe upload some video's(i'll never use bass test) :D

  • @RsDkPK Lol i do thats when it most hits hard if you got request i can play some if you want lol, only if its got good bass though lol

  • Comment removed

  • I'm getting 2 logitech z-2300's in a week !

  • @al3x440 OMG so cool!! make a vid!!

  • @neonzion7, I already have a vid now, check my channel

  • u just took 1 minute to take the grill of the 5500 in the vid then after 1 sec u put it back on -.-

  • @gnpivot123 haha cause its glued in the first time so its easy every time after

  • i have Z-2300 can i connect the sub to the sub of the Z-5500 so i'll have 2 subs ?

  • @israeldogfather it could burn the amp... i DO NOT recommend this

  • u can do alot more with z5500 just wait untill u got bit more money and get it

  • camera?

  • So the bass is better on the 5500? Which set of satellites is louder etc?

  • I just bought the Z-2300, but i've heard how Z-5500 sound in a store. From all i can say, Z2300 have insane bass, really, i never expected that kind of sound from something that basicaly a low priced pc speaker system. Z-5500 has got a little stronger bass, but thats too much, you never have bass at 100% anyway, not even on z2300. But Z-5500 sound quality overall is better, and high tones are much louder and more clear. If you want bass, get z2300, if you want overall sound quality, get z5500.

  • @derbigpr500 I always have the Bass set to 100%, cannot listen to music without some vibrations...

  • @ShadeRx93 Yea but having bass at 100% is not natural, thats artifitial bass. I like having my bass at 50-60%, so the song sounds real....100% is just artificially enhanced bass, and music sounds boomy like shit then.

  • i am geting my z5500 in 24days cant wait

if a take the grill off do i still have the warranty???

  • i Bought my Z-5500 from the logitech website, I've had it for about a month now and this is totally wierd! ... aftr a month of using this product the bass started to fade out a bit, it'll get down into the high pitch bass, but when it doesn the mid pitch, or low pitch bss, you can't really feel it anymore. So I called logitech and they told me to return the control pod and I'll get a brand new system + I get to keep the 'useless', old sub and speakers. Hopefully the new one will last longer.

  • Does both subs combine well or they sound weird combined in actual music?

  • logitechsubs said they blend in well together years ago lol... you still around?

  • urm stupid question maybe, but can you plug an ipod straight into the sytem? in listen to alot of heavy bass dubstep, but would only use it for music for my ipod or on my computer, which would you recommend? and again maybe another stupid question.. but can you use the speakers without a computer? it'll be REALLY helpful if you reply, cheers mate :)

  • @SuperBashy you can plug and ipod straight into the z2300 without an computer. idk about the z5500

  • one z5500 or two z2300

  • @100turbodog 4 music,2xz2300......4games,movies.... z5500

  • @100turbodog neither

    for that price get hifi

  • Wtf who cares, I have the Z-2300. That's fucking much power!

  • is it easy to put the grill back on the z-2300?

  • Gavon

  • How is ur z-5500 hooked up to ur mac?

  • I bought logitech Z5500 and z2300 today. I would say do not to buy them both purchase Z5500. it is best

  • you say first the z-2300 is RIDICULOUS PIECE OF SHIT, then you say that z5500 kicks a LITTLE louder :D

  • Mac sucks, just like you. z-2300 is fuckin great for that price.

  • they are easy to connect them together:)?

  • @tim234mumba he probably just used either a earphone hub or a dual output, or had two jacks on his computer.

    not that hard.

  • @blankpaper66 okay thx :D ! do you think you get much more power by buying them both)?

  • @tim234mumba not really, and like he said, the 2300 responds better than the 5500 but the 5500 hits a little harder, seeing as it has 2" more on the 2300.

if i were you I would just stick with one,

  • What should I go for.

    1) The Z5500 (200W RMS Bass)

    2) 2x Z2300 (240W RMS Bass, also cheaper)

  • @TehKnot 2 z-2300... i think if your spending that much money you should just save up 200 more buy a 15" subwoofer and get massive amounts of bass. even a 12"

  • @TehKnot

Z5500, do not look at the RMS power. two z2300 only gets louder not better.

  • Klipsch Ifi blows both these systems away. I use to have both of these and I bought my ifi's and listened, the satellites and the sub just blow these systems away so i just sold both of them. Too bad its discontinued.

  • I just want to Z-2300 because I can not afford the Z-5500 Very cool video

  • Well i just switched my Z4 to my bro's Z-2300, the differense is really big, and it actually has a woofer instead of speaker inside :D

As i saw the Z-5500, i fell in love :P no really, i want this.

  • non of logitech spaeakers are really any much good. they are quite far away from the low end HI-FI. logitech it's just about power.

  • Hi, I just want to know what is the advantage of removing the grill.

    Thanks

  • @fatboyslim27 Its just so u can see the excursion

  • hi, this both systems, they sound good together? does the bass is so much powerfull than the z-5500 alone? thanks

  • The Z2300 is the best solution!!!

    Z5500 Costs 449 Euro and the Z2300 costs 180 Euro(To Greece)

I own a Z2300 and i am very pleased with it!!!

I think the z5500 are overprised comparing to their power!!!

    BUT I WANT THEM!!! ^^

  • MY BIC PL 200 subwoofer well blow this peace of shit out of the water...

  • yoh man i have the logitech X540 and i wana upgread to the z-5500 i can get it for 500$ tax in how loud is that sub compared to the x540

  • @kevinallenvegh o man its 200% louder and deeper and its the kind of bass that you really feel its very powerfull, sincerely the x-540 bass is freaking shit compared to the z-5500 sub.

  • @cyberJOKRES thats kinda what i figured lols good to know tho cuz sometimes these subs r just for show and dont shake shit.

  • NICE

  • I got the z-2300 and im thinking of buying the z-5500 so are they sound god together and is the bass as powerful as the z-2300???????? sorry for my english

  • @marcodercoole145 the z5500 have a powerfull and deepper bass sound and is a digital system so of course have a much better sound that the z2300 is 63rms more then the z2300

  • how can you connect them together?

  • headphone splitter

  • where did u buy the z-5500?

  • its more than 1 jear old so its very hard to buy and find it but i have hem :D

  • Wow, the 5500 sub seems massive to the 2300, and hella lota excursion too haha,

I'l be getting the z2300 soon, i think it'l be plenty for what i need, and i won't have wire probs haha, eitherway, both are great sets!

  • What is the first songs title?

  • you are wierd man!!!!! mommasboy?

  • i really want a z-5500. too bad it costs a whopping 1000$ in iceland xD

  • when did you buy the z2300 from bestbuy i wa there a week ago and they said that they dont carry it.

  • i bought my z2300 for £107 i wanna buy the z5500 but im scared if it blows i will do eentually but im worried abot my getting deaf I F*** LOVE BASS

  • How do you hook this up to a computer?

  • hey, does the z-5500 pick up some mid range frequency like the z-2300 does? I've heard some ppl say it does but does it from you having both systems, I've got the z-2300 it does pick up a bit of mid range. cheers

  • the 2300 sub looks way better

  • z-2300 is't the smaller brother of z-5500 because z-5500 has 5 satellites..and z-2300 has 2 satellites....this is not a fair comparison...you are dumb right from the start...you do not know how to disassemble grille..dumb

  • @Razbunatoriicheli

    he's comparing the subwoofer lol

    not the satellites

  • thats why he compared the subs

  • the 2300 has an 8" sub while the 5500 has a 10" sub. That's why it sounds deeper. It has 5 satellites like you said as well. And has higher wattage. So it's like comparing a bicycle to a hummer. Both can get you to where you want, but one will get there faster, with less effort.

  • by the way I'm agreeing with you Raz

  • @baronofbefoulment for the price of one Z5500 system you can get 2 Z2300's though. Using a splitter you can still hit the lows with both subs going off together ;)

  • yeah. And for the price of the z5500 you could also get a 1,000 watt technical pro power amp, and a pair of nice speakers. Or a small PA system. I was just saying that the more expensive one is more powerful than the cheaper smaller one. If you get two z2300's though, then yes it would be a better buy. Even though I think one is a good deal in the first place.

  • nice lol... bu seriously bike to a hummer hahahaha.... its more like a jeep cherokee to a hummer lol

  • maybe not a bike nor a jeep cherokee, but a geo tracker.
