hmm thats weird, whenever I zoom in with any other shotty than the neostead on slugs, the crosshair tightens so much that its just a + without any space in the middle. Only the neostead retains a little space, so its the only one that feels right with slug shotties for me, which sucks as the spas is my favorite.
@KvltKommando Not a bug, DICE intended it to be like that originally. Was already like that on the consoles but didn't get implemented on the PC version until the R9 client patch.
I think you're right. But my point is that the shotguns are unfair in so many situations.(not all) It's possible that you get less kills with a shotgun but all those players who run around and give oneshots all the time are just annoying...even if they get killed a few seconds later. There are just too many situations you're just unable to win the 1on1 battle against a shotgun player and that is my point. It's not my fault if they got a worse KD by playing with shotguns :D
@Silvos1992 I still haven't found out why DICE put slugs in this game in the first place. It doesn't fit the norm for FPS multiplayer. But in this game's current state they are less dangerous then the same person using a Recon kit in all the same scenarios.

I don't really blame you for playing with them, it's not your fault that they exist. It's just the fault of DICE putting them in the game in the first place and then making them so good (my opinion). I think the whole game has so many bugs and annoying things they could easily fix but don't do it...
@Silvos1992 I like using slug shotties and never thought they were unfair until I got bored of using them. They're really not anymore unfair than a red dot or 4x sniper rifle.
I like slug shotties because they can kill shit and are more reliable at killing shit than other guns in this game. This game has notoriously bad hitreg so every bit of reliability and damage is important.
The real problem isnt that slug shotties are too good, it's that every other gun feels so weak in comparison.

At the time of recording this and when I used this kit setup I believed it to be cheap and OP but noob doesn't come to mind because in close quarters if your not fast enough or accurate enough you'll end up dead. You can still do this even after the R9 patch. Don't know why DICE nerfed the hip fire accuracy, I never hip fired the shotgun with slugs because it wasn't reliable.

You get killed a lot in a situation, that you know when using an smg or assault rifle will put you on top. Its not about the gun, its the player using it. watching blackmesatech dominating all those guys with shotgun, i know for sure if he's using smg or assault rifle will instantly double his KDR in this game.

But my problem is (except for 870) that the shotguns can easily kill someone over a huge distance and also in small distances with oneshots...You have either a "circle" or a cross to aim and if someone is in it you just get a oneshot independet from the distance. In the opposite the assault rifles have to shoot like five or six bullets to kill someone so you are definitely advantaged by the shotguns. Thats my problem.
@Silvos1992 Yes 5 to 6 bullets from an assault rifle is faster than lining your shot from a shotgun even more if you miss and need to pump for a second shot. You can even spray faster all 30 bullets from automatic assault rifle, smg, and lmg than lining the perfect shot from a shotgun. The only thing the shotgun really kills are those campers who stay in same place even if you already SPOT them then just line the shot on the triangle above their heads and still you need to get a headshot.
@sweetxix That's just not true...It takes the same time to do a shotgunshot as a rifleshot? What's the difference? You aim and shoot...Both weapons the same procedure. The difference is that you need up to 5-6 shots to kill somebody with assault and the shotguns only need 1-2. And that's the thing what i'm complaining about...So i'd say that it is easier to kill someone with a shotgun than an assault oder MG-rifle (Except for AN-94, MG3 and M60 - these are noob weapons...)I don't see your point.
@Silvos1992 I don't know how to explain it in any other way but to make things short I can automatically double my KDR when using any AR, SMG, & LMG compared to when I'm using a shotgun and I'm doing good with shotgun but when I use AR it will always give me more kills. You will always win with an AR in surprise situation. It's just that simple if you say shotgun is a noob than use it for yourself and let see if you'll get more kills with it & I'm sure it wont. Thumbs up. i LOL at Silvos1992 comment, this guy thinks watching you owning those guys with shotgun making it look easy to use, made him actually think that the shotgun with slug is easy to use. When actually the fact is the shotgun is always the hardest gun to master in all FPS games, the skilled & hardcore players are the only one's that can use it properly.

I'm not usually the kind of person to say this, but until the last few minutes of the video I was considering the possibility that you have some sort of mod that makes people not shoot at you.

@sifal22 Kind of, I use ESDF setup instead of WASD so the weapon select keys are also shifted over one key, allows me to bind a few more keys on the otherside.
I see how far the C4 and grenades are thrown, and I go "Damn, mine never went that far..." That's some really great playing blackmesatech. I'll definitely have to try a couple of your techniques.
@XclueSV Assuming your asking about the shotgun no it hasn't. However C4 does tend to float mid air for a few seconds now after the patch when trying to throw it long distances.

I think you're right.
