No, there was a story with the green candle in the saban series, instead of burai's death, they made tommy loose his powers in order to bring him back later (temporarily) to use up what was left of the zyuranger footage that included the non-evil burai (green ranger) when they were finished doing that, they made tommy the white ranger instead.

Actually, that shows the green candle burning, which means that was green ranger during "the green candle" 2 parter, which was several episodes after the "green with evil" arc, meaning at this point, tommy was no longer under rita's influence, and instead was fighting her to keep his powers.
then again, this is fan art, so it doesnt really matter.

No, there was a story with the green candle in the saban series, instead of burai's death, they made tommy loose his powers in order to bring him back later (temporarily) to use up what was left of the zyuranger footage that included the non-evil burai (green ranger) when they were finished doing that, they made tommy the white ranger instead.

@Kane917 Reread what I said, I said he was never weak, his body couldn't handle the gold rangers powers. Notice in the episodes, he would sometimes be weakened by being the gold ranger b/c they came from an alien named Trey who feared the powers would be lost forever. Anotherwords the power source of the gold ranger was not a zeo crystal, if i remember right the power source is Pyramidas/staff for trasnferring power. I clearly said now, the gold ranger powers were not meant for a human being.

Meaning the gold ranger's powers were the 5th power source. Alien rangers, gold ranger, phantom ranger, space rangers & lost galaxy rangers were sources of power were never made on earth. Also, when gold ranger was getting attacked by Vorax the Borax, he couldn't lose pyramidas b/c he needs gold power to run it.
