Dirty Dubstep tutorial Day 5 Pt1: Making a super saw pad

For some reason this pad sounded better when I added a comb filter to Osc 1+2 with Freq full, res to 86, env 0 and comb + settings. It creates a really full, "DJ tiesto"-y sound.

by ADDING eq, You're trying to add poop to something that is a polished piece of work.

The way the eq bends the frequencies are different when you do subtractive eq in comparison to additive EQ.

To me, most my stuff sounds better subtractive, and recently I've made somedemolishingn basses due to this.

this synth hurt my ears,sounds NOTHING LIKE YOURS AND I FOLLOWED every step.Im an audio engineer so I know what your doing but mine sounds like im getting too much white noise n it sounds like a swarm of locust are attacking me...sorry this tutorial i thought would be better but u showing us these leads and they ( no offense ) are absolutely terrible please make another dubstep tutorial w/o 80 videos on pads n saws..focus on wobbles
