  • You know happy thoughts make happy people. You should try to be more positive. You'll find that most of your problems will just float away.

    Oh for Christ's sake---I'm KIDDING!

  • @MonacoBlast yes. the power of JUST thinking positive. reminds of 'the secret.' that had me thinking if i JUST imagined myself somewhere, i would magically be there (well, not really). it would be awesome if things worked that way though. i'd imagine people OUT of my life and others in it...and all kinds of things. it would be amazing.

  • What's the name of the disorder that made you left-handed?

  • @MonacoBlast what kind of question is that?

  • @justagurl23 I think it's called bait and hook.

  • @justagurl23 I'm just foolin' around. : )

  • @MonacoBlast yeah...i think that went way over my head unless there really was nothing to make sense of lol couldn't even think of any kind of answer smart ass or otherwise for that one.

  • @justagurl23 Well, being left handed might have one advantage. When you're ready to kick some ass nobody expects a left hook . In their confusion....WHAM! I've heard that lefty's don't like chocolate too. You should get rid of that picture for your April update. You look happy. I sense full recovery. I don't know any other lefty's. I don't where I'll go.

  • @MonacoBlast hm. what does full recovery look like? you know you can't replace me lol

  • @justagurl23 I need chocolate.

  • @justagurl23 Yea, I know I can't replace you, but you don't have to rub it in. And then there's the 2 hole in ones that you got---rubbing it in again. There's the being left handed--being special. You're an aunt--which I can never be. It just goes on and on.

  • You could also give them a piece of chocolate or you could deck them.

  • @MonacoBlast they get no chocolate! chocolate is for me. i'd rather kick them in the face lol

  • Next time someone's bothering you give them an orange.

  • Oh you're Canadian. I knew something was wrong, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

And you say you're left handed....hmmm. Fascinating.

  • @MonacoBlast well, i'm actually part American too..my mom is American and my dad is Canadian. i'm a lot of different things. i'm actually ambidextrous but write with my left hand, use scissors with my left hand, and golf left-handed. i catch and throw with my left.. so, i guess that just makes me left-handed...maybe i was more ambidextrous growing up..although to make me more interesting, i have O negative blood, so anyone (almost) can get mine, but i can only get O negative blood.

  • @justagurl23 It just so happens that I have O negative blood.

  • @MonacoBlast haha neat. i'm sure it's not that rare really...and good to know if they don't know what type someone is, they will give anyone that generally anyway

  • @justagurl23 My doctor said that if I wanted a more positive outlook on life I should switch over to A+. He said it's the best thing for my attitude.

  • @MonacoBlast lmfao

  • I'm afraid that's how things are going to be here..Winter to Summer and no Spring. Sad. But it seems like a typical thing for my state. I want the warm-like weather rather than really hot. Ha, that would freak me out if I ran into someone in RL who had seen my videos! Wow, that's cool that you guys all met up. ;) I think that's a good idea to get into the community and hanging out weekly.

  • You remind me of Glenda the good witch in the Wizard of Oz.

  • @MonacoBlast i would hope the good one...lol but why

  • @justagurl23 Glenda just kind of floated above all the worry and upset with a kind smile and understanding. We could all do with a bit of Glenda in us.

  • @MonacoBlast i def. don't float above that..i wish lol more like...it tends to kind of drown me

  • @justagurl23 Fascinating.

  • Great to hear that things continue to be better with your sister. You mentioned that you need to eat so you can function in your work because working is a helpful distraction. I can imagine this dynamic creating a lot of tension between the two, e.g. working effectively vs restricting. If you were not working as much, do you think your ed symptoms would get worse and that perhaps this is one reason you may need to work so much/hard? Just a thought--great to hear you're able to have some fun.

  • @merelyme02 i think it's more to outrun certain thoughts and feelings lately not related to ED stuff. having a bunch of triggers the last few days which is making everything harder in general.

  • I am a lefty too! I have to go to OA because there aren't any support groups in my area. It's so great that you're starting a support group-don't give up!! The library is a really great place to meet-there's no food -so it won't stress people out. I hope you keep updating.

  • It is so nice to see you again! You have been in my thoughts. I so happy to hear about you trying to crate a support group. That is so amazing. I would like to do something similar in my area, but am terribly shy and not that open about my struggles. Is there something you did that helped you become more open?

  • @Dyingxx2xxLive i think it depends on how i'm feeling and the people i'm interacting with. i still am really shy and don't always talk a lot or am able to sometimes. just being around decent people helps though..people you know have a similar experience and are supportive make it easier.

  • Why are you having a hard time with mirrors? You are very pretty. I think someone gave you a trick mirror just to be mean.

  • Christmas in July. Oh how I'd love to be there. But then I'd probably spend the bulk of my time swatting mosquito's. lol Nice to see your face and your smile. :)

  • @justveiwing23 lol i think you'd be hiding in a corner with that many people there....as for mosquitos, i don't know how much we even get. i don't seem to get bitten, so they must not like me lol

  • That's awesome. Maybe it will turn into something much bigger

I was going to say something about mirrors and turning into a vampire but I don't know if that would be funny or just insensitive

You almost got a hole in one in a hole you weren't playing on. Ha How hard did you hit the ball? sheesh

Wow 30 people all at once. Double sheesh

I heard about a new technology, when you put it on your head it will change which hand you prefer. I don't think it changes how good you are with that hand though

  • @Spiritualreality lmao are you talking about golfing? that lost me. i hit the ball pretty hard..a few times lol

  • @justagurl23 You were saying how you went mini golfing and you hit the ball and almost hit someone and her daughter and almost made a hole in one.

I never went golfing before. I don't think I would have the patience for it.

  • great to hear from you ashley :) and yay tim hortons!! was one of the best things about canada when i visited - all the tim hortons! wish they would open a store in australia (where i live) i would LOVE that lol! :)

    xxxxxxx katie

  • I SO look forward to the day I can watch a video from you like the last one that CourtneyBlairCameron made. She is at the exact weight she should be and is comfortable with that. She finished her degree and got a job she likes. And she is engaged to some very lucky guy. You deserve to be just as happy as she is; whatever it is that would make you happy. Please focus on making that happen for YOU first! <3

  • @SirReptitious Well, actually, I have been the same weight for about four years now. Just because i'm not what the BMI chart says i 'should' be doesn't mean i'm not still doing okay. there are bound to be times in my life where i struggle..it's just how it goes. it isn't like it used to be, and i'm able to go well, i went nearly four years without really struggling with things food wise, so i'm doing AMAZING still.

  • @justagurl23 Don't get me wrong. I didn't mean to imply that you haven't made good progress over the years. You are the first person I ever subbed to on YT('06), so I have followed your entire journey so far. Also, I am aware that you have more problems than just the ED which Courtney had to deal with, so obviously it will not be as easy for you to get where she is. I just used her as an example of where I would love to see you. Healthy, happy, and cured!

  • oh, i also have a job..i work from home. two years now...just because it's also not out in public like most people do, it's still a job. i don't need to be like everyone else to be happy......i'm doing things on my own terms and i thought that was how it's supposed to be.

  • @justagurl23 Yes, I know you work in medical transcription, and its nice to be able to work from home. But you had a hard time getting that job, and you know that not being able to deal with getting a job out in public greatly limits your options. Some way, some how, you know you have got to beat your anxiety like you did your ED. Words can't describe how much more you would enjoy the outside world if you did! And yes, your happiness can be totally different from others; I made sure to say that!

  • While its great to hear you are finally making some friends of your own, it really gets to me when you talk about doing things to "help others". Like you talked about in this video, you aren't 100% recovered still. You need to use all of your time and strength to help yourself. Only then can you afford to help others. I know I am being an "armchair therapist" here, but it seems like you want to help others so that you don't have to think about your own problems, like when you work a lot.

  • @SirReptitious helping others helps me too though. i've gotten to the point where i can, so it's good for me to do. before, not so much. i have things to offer now unlike before when i was so sick i couldn't really....

  • @justagurl23 If it really does help you to help others, then that's great. As I said, I was just concerned that you were using it as a diversion to keep your mind off your own problems, which would not be good. I know it sounds silly since I live 3,000 miles away, am a guy, and dont have an ED or SAD issues, but I care about you and want you to fully recover so you can really enjoy the rest of your life. YT "connections" are a new thing; they are hard to put into words; hope you understand me!

  • @SirReptitious yeah. i know you meant well. and mean well. it is hard when i deal with so many different things. if it's not one thing at a time to get through, it's two at once...and when you have a few things overlapping like that, it gets harder to know what is actually even going on and how to deal with it, and i basically still just have to get through it however i can.... it's like a balancing act..i think it always will be. baby steps.

  • Great to see you, best wishes and thank's.

  • You must live near me, thats how the weather is. It was snowing last week, finally got up to 20 two days ago. And yum yum Tims!

  • I am left handed too. In school they tried to get me to write with my right hand. I can use both but the left is better.

  • @GodlessManitoban they never did that with me. strange. i thought they only did that like 50 some years ago...or something.

  • Exquisite...

  • You're beautiful♡
