We have these Hb's. I cook them on a cast iron skillet. Get the skillet very hot and cook with half oil and half butter. Only turn hb's over 1 time, do not stir. Brown on one side and then the other. Add dehydrated bell peppers and dehydrated onions to make them really good. They come out nice and crunchy like the restaurants.
You spread them on the bottom of the fry pan and leave them alone until they are browned on the bottom, just lift up a little to ck if browned underneath.
I slice mine in half and turn over a half at a time otherwise they will fall apart.
Key is you want them brownied nicely on outside and cooked on inside. That is how you do Hash Browns.
