  • I love LOST!!

  • This was an amazing recap. One of the best i've seen.

  • This is Seanie Bs brother!

  • Totally wrong on the ending Jacks father stated to him you were not going anywhere with Kate you were going alone!! Go watch it again they all met back in the church yes and they all remembered but it was after that they would move on into the light alone!! No one ended up with anyone at the end they were dead!!

  • why didn't ben in the boomworld go the place where the rest goes under guidence bij christian? Ben got his flashes so his soul is received..i assume it's not obligated to go than? As he refers: i have still things to do

  • "everythin was fantistic...except for kate" lmfao

    thats what i thought too!!!

  • I Watch allmy Episodes at TV[.]Usnetxxx[.]com

  • I Watch all my Episodes HD

    at : TV[.]Usnetxxx[.]com

  • i loved how the MIB hit the rock and didnt land in the water

even after he died he still never got off the island

  • why didnt jack die like mib did when he landed outside the cave. zzz.

  • i see all my Episodes at TV[.]UsNetxxx[.]com

  • so uh.. why was it important for them to leave in the airplane in the end? shouldn't they just have all died right there so they would get to the flash sideways? I mean, wouldn't that just make more sense since kate got her memories from the island before jack?

  • EVERYONE at the Fuselage was practically at war over what the cut on Jack's neck meant. We were arguing circles around eachother- half thinking it was mirroring the cut on his neck from being thrown through the air by the explosion at the end of The Last Recruit, the other half thinking it didn't mean anything. By now you think viewers would would know when the writers are emphasizing something. So it wasn't from the explosion, but it WAS significant. I thought it was a nice touch.

  • BTW: Crocs rule!

  • Good call on Juliet. Based on Christian's explanation of time we can assume that in death, it doesn't matter who among them died when... everything is synched the moment they remember eachother. I think Juliet said "It worked" before she died on the island because her consciousness was already bleeding over into that exact moment of realization on the other side- remembering the Island, Sawyer, and dying. It's profound in so many ways because she had to LET GO on both ends to move forward.

  • how bout sloppy afterlife and loose thread world?

  • Fudge, you said exactly what I just... my bad. Mental note: watch the entire video before commenting, LOL. :P

  • but can you really call it the dud world and boom world now?

  • Had it not been for Ben ordering The Others to build that runway, they'd never been able to leave at all. Damn I miss this show.

  • I'm so lost without LOST! Mr. James I thankyou for all of your re-caps of the show! You know every Tuesday I had something to look forward to and now Lost is finished and your re-caps is finished! I'm so sad! I have nothing to watch on t.v. We need another Star Trek movie to come out or a new interesting sci-fi program to come on. When will you post your last thoughts?

  • Great recap, Mr. James. You nailed the finale, as usual. I love the tidbit you provided that there will be new Lost content on the Complete Series DVD's involving Hugo and Ben. AWESOME! After your Part III, I hope you will do a full video review of the Lost Complete Series DVD's. Key questions I still have are is 1) How did Desmond and Eloise both have knowledge of the Boom and Dud worlds?: 2) Why weren't Richard, Lipidas and Miles in the church at the end? 3) What was Widmore up to?

  • Get the tissues ready guys, ... Last scene of Lost... youtube.com/watch?v=JH0DigVw1bA

  • You are a legend!

  • WOW, Well worth the wait!!!!! This is the best explination i have heard on the Season Finale EVER!!!! The only thing i thought you would have answered, and didn't, is that how the hell did Ben get out after being trapped under that tree. Oh well, maybe it will be in the deleted scenes, LOL I am glad to see you are going to post a part three :)

  • i looooooooveeee it how you hate kate !! you made me hate her too !!

  • please someone clarify for me, so im guessing the reason desmond and eloise are able to go back and forth between realities is just cause they're "special" right?

how did the ajira plane get off the island i thought they had leave in exact angles

clarify did claire just go crazy from being alone for 3 years or cause she was claimed? why did sayid become good again after he was claimed?

richard visiting young locke, why was he disappointed?

    hurley bird?

    was christian ALWAYS the smokemonster?

  • @do7mike23 Yes, Desmond was special. He was resistant large amounts of electromagnetism, his consciousness could travel through time (S3 and S4). In S6 this ability allowed him to see the FST or pseudo-purgatory world. It's not clear if Eloise was special in the same way as Desmond. She was "awake" in the FST but we don't know why. Frank knew the correct baring to use to escape the island - remember S4 and the helicopter rescue - Faraday told him the baring.

  • @do7mike23. Claire went crazy because she was claimed by MIB - this is what Dogan told us anyway. Presumably, after Jack killed Smokey, she was released from his power. It seems as though Sayid wasn't "fully" claimed - there was enough of the old Sayid left to come through and make his final sacrifice. Richard was disappointed because Locke, as a boy, chose the knife instead of the book. Hurley bird was a plot device in S2 finale- Michael needed to see that his gun was not loaded.

  • Comment removed

  • @do7mike23. The fact that it said Hurley - maybe a clue that Hurley would one day be the island protector? Lastly, Christian was only the smoke monster when he was seen on the island by Jack, Locke, Claire, Sun and Frank.

  • @do7mike23 1. the ajira plane got off the island because the rules were "reset" after desmond pulled the plug

    2. being "claimed" is a theory. i personally think claire went insane because the MIB fueled this by telling her lies about who took her baby and who she could trust etc

3.richard said that when he visited young flocke he didnt notice anything spectacular about him. also the only reason richard went to visit him is because he saw flocke disappear when he flashed through time and so

  • @do7mike23 he thought there WAS something special about him for that reason.

    4. any time you saw christian on the island, that was the MIB taking christian's form. he even said to jack that on the first day that they crashed he took christian's form so that jack would follow him to where the water was

  • @crazylittlepartytifs

was he leading him to water, or trying to trick him into to going over the falls

  • @crazylittlepartytifs yeah but im just confused about the part where jack sees christian off the island

  • Do you remember Eko's death? When he died they show that scene of him walking with his brother: maybe it was really Eko seeing him in the otherworld.

  • Ok, my question is: Why was Ilana Latin in the original timeline, but American in the afterlife?? Also, James, you geniunely dislike Kate, fair enough, but your a guy, your straight, come on dude, what a beauty Kate is. Absolutly gorgeous!!

  • @itsthekaa. I think she was Russian in the original timeline, not Latin. But anyway, the switch to American may be something to do with Desmond - he had never met her in the original timeline, so we may have been seeing Desmond's perception of her - just speculation though.

  • I just want to add that the only reason I comment is cuz I hear JJ Abrams constantly praised as a genious for reinventing the Star Trek franchise and the sloppy writers of this show are going to make a truckload of money off of the sequel. I don't agree that turning Star Trek into an action movie franchise is cool, but it is a clever way to make money. Oh what am I complaining about? Nice vids James, really enjoyed em, thanks! Sorry everyone, I'm drunk! I really did enjoy these vids!

  • Hey I hate to be negative, but is this just a recap or are you going to comment on how all of the theorizing didn't matter in the end? Oh yeah, the show was all about loose ends. BRILLIANT! I'm surprised about the lack of negativity about the finale. I mean cheers if you liked it but I though it was poor writing and felt cheated. You've seen the Collegehumor vid? Well, sorry if I offended you and yeah it felt good, but even the cheese wasn't good when you looked at it. Oh, u turned brain off.

  • kate was amazingly hot in this episode

  • Nice James, you finally finished the second 1/2 of your review for the Lost finale. Well, like always, I enjoyed hearing your insights on the finale. As for your future videos, I hope you come up with some good ideas. I'll definitely keep an eye out for anything new you do. By the way, if you haven't already, check out my channel. I'm a songwriter, & I'm finishing up a new recording, If you ever need more music for the intro of your new videos, I'd be happy to let you use some of my songs.

  • catch-22?

i've heard about that book many many many times

but no one will tell me what its about!

  • awsome! so worth the wait

  • Your 'Kate Hate' is ridiculous. Kate's moment when she shot Flocke was spectacular and made perfect sense that she would be the one to save Jack.

  • @hatterandharestudios totally agree

  • Great Video as always,

Did you notice that Locke bled earlier than when Jack punched him. When Locke and Jack were lowering Desmond into the light in the cave, the camera stops on Locke's hands, which are Bleeding onto the rope.

  • Any theory on how the heck Jack got out of the pit with the plug in it after he "re-plugged" the island? All of a sudden he was just washed up on the shore, outside of it.

  • @reallytallblondeguy I think that his body was propelled out of the cave (like the man in black's body was) but he survived that because he was immortal again after turning the light back on. The stab wound he got from Flocke was before the light came back on, so he was still dying from that. A little loose but I think it works lol.

  • @reallytallblondeguy . yes that wasn't at all clear how that happened. They needed to have Jack end up at the bamboo forest so he could die there, but how did he get there? Was the flow of the water really strong enough to propel him out? We know MIB's body ended up in a similar place after Jacob threw him into the source, so it's possible the water is strong enough. Localized flooding I guess :)

  • Cant wait to see you eat the apple..........

  • That was beautiful my friend ... beautiful.

  • Bravo, Bravo!!!! Great job Mr. James!! I just got emotional all over again.

  • BRAVO , BRAVO!!! Mr. James!!! I got emotional all over again.

  • hahaha ... it started just where it left off.

  • i am still more then disapointed, i still dont get it what was the point in so many things

  • I cried while watching the last minute of this...i can't believe it's over

    it felt soooo real..lol

    TEAM JACK FOREVER

Thanks Mr James for bringing more excitement to Lost.

U n seanie b did it for me.....

are there any other shows where there can be a theory of the week and message board chatttttttttterrr?

  • one thing i hope you cover in PT 3 is the bomb at the end of season 5, did it have no role except to bring them back to 2007? why would Faraday be sooo wrong?

  • @rigso321 It probably caused the pregnancy problems b/c of radiation. Other than that I found it a wasted storyline. They needed to get back to 2007 somehow

  • @electric947 possibly. I still wonder what it meant when Richard said he watched everyone on the island die in 77. What happened to Dharma? did they just temporarily evacuate, those who stayed died, then they came back to be killed by Ben years later? they really left that whole dharma/incident thing with no explanation, but that's ok, still loved the show...

  • @rigso321. I think we can assume that there was some type of explosion when jughead detonated and Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Jin, Hurley all disappeared at the same time. So from Richard's point of view it looked like they were killed by the explosion. We can only guess, but I'd say that the build up electromagnetism at the Swan site was able to "swallow" the full impact of jughead, thus avoiding the total devastation of the island. Presumably, the Dharma folks returned after the incident.

  • @rigso321 and continued with the building of the Swan hatch which was now essential for avoiding another electromagnetic build up. From Darma's POV the incident had almost resulted in their extermination, so it makes sense that they would go to great lengths to stop it from happening again.

  • @rigso321 Welll here's what happened probably...

Most people think 1 of 2 things

    1. The bomb reacted somehow with the electromagnetism and that caused the incident.

    2. The electromagnetism being released was the thing that caused the incident.

To me, either one of those is the cause of the incident.

It is apparent that the Dharma people came back after the evacuation because Roger Linus is still on the island during the purge so is Horace

  • @rigso321 Oh, and the thing about Richard seeing everyone die was probably him thinking they died when Juliet hit the bomb and they flashed to 2007. He just thought they were vaporized probably

  • i wish they would show what happened to Kate/Claire,etc... the people who left the island. what were their lives like? did kate and sawyer get together? I guess we'll never know... but i was like you during the end, no words... just stared

  • Pcmechanic, you summed it up perfectly...it was cool, but it left you feeling a little cheated...

  • Awesome StrongBad reference at 6:08

  • @redrabbitjohnson Very nice catch

  • I have to admit that I have mixed feelings about the finale. Emotionally, it was wonderful and beautiful and I cried like a baby...several times. But intellectually, I felt betrayed by the lack of answers to the very questions/mysteries that the showrunners had deliberately created. So, it was a bittersweet experience for me.

  • The finale was misunderstood by so many,I agree with the explanation you give here..took me a few days ,but I figured it out..thanks to you for all these amazing recaps/reviews you posted troughout the last seasons.ill still follow your videos ,kudos man..and keep up the good work mrjames:)

  • no matter on my thoughts on te ending - thank you mr james.............its been a pleasure.

    Take Care

    &

    Kind Regards

  • I agree with SIL588 LOST ended for me in season 4. This show was headed downhill after the smoke monster and the smoke fist killing EcKo. O well, it was good when I thought I still had it. The series final was a hot bowl of crap.

  • the jack and locke was awesome/horrible alone without kate. I mean, it was great, and what we were waiting for, but a little too matrix like for me. I mean, Flocke should have just went for the boat. Maybe MIB was the only good one all along, and the island is just some selfish alien from neptune, i don't know.

  • Jack and Flocke's was ridiculous!!! And KATE RUINED IT?!??!? Because Jack couldn't kill him adding another heroic act to this Jack show???? I hated this finale, it was the destruction of all characters, except Jack, of course!!! I think LOST ended on the season 4 finale.

  • cant wait for the apple scene

  • As far as I'm concerned Lost ended on the Season 5 Finale

  • @Walkden09 absolutely agreed.

season 5 finale grants an open end, you can draw your own conclusion

and since season 6 did explain NOTHING at all, that season was better to begin with.

  • kate was a pointless character never did like her either

  • Thanks for the videos James.

  • You always amaze me James ;) Can't wait for part 3 !

  • it was funny when jack turned i to the hullk for a secound

  • i really liked the fist in the air like a comic book hero scene lol and i really liked that kate had jack's back and shot flocke, after he stabbed him!!

and i like your implication that a person dying in the dudd world is connected to the boom world, coz i had hoped that jack smiled as he lay there dying because he saw The (happy) End

  • I love how your hate for Kate (rhyming skills) is exactly like mine. I HATE HER

  • the best explanation on the net. but im only saying that because its what i already thought. well done mr james, your a leg-end

  • Kate is awesome!!! She completed her mission on the island! She saved Jack's life! I don't understand all you haters!!!! Kate is a heroine!!

  • Kate said that she saved a bullet for him because he told her to "save your bullets" when she first tried to shoot him.

  • great explanation of the sideways world. I still wonder about people like Helen, Nadia, Hurley's mom and many others in the sideways world. I don't they or their souls were really there, I think they were just representations of those people to help our guys go through the motions as they come to the realizations they need to come to. Now I think people like Eloise, Roussou, Alex, Daniel, and Charlotte were really there and that they were not quite ready for that final journey quite yet.

  • Thank you.

  • Ok, so even though it appears they get "recieved" at different points in time (on the beach for hurley, in the hospital for juliet and sawyer, when loccke woke up in the hospital) did that corilate(sp?) with their death, meaning, technically, sawyer clair and kate would "recive much later? or do the get recieved at random due to their being no time? or do they get recived in an instant, and the sideways is so quick, and so long that time dosent concieve it. my spelling is horrible.

  • This is more entertaining than the episode turned out to be.

  • whats up with all these positive comments about lost ending?! I mean, the last 2 episodes were shot in fashion that fully disregarded the first 4 seasons of lost and had nothing to do with it. If you thought the ending was good, im sorry, you are not a true lost fan, its just another "tv show" for you. For the rest of us, it was a slap in the face

  • @liewecz So you're saying that a true Lost fan really sits in a corner crying and fussing and hating the whole show just because not much was answered?

  • @TGND333 answers is not what i was looking for. I was totally, fully prepared to get zero answers(after 5 years i kinda caught up). What I was looking for was just the ending to be about the island. The island part had kinda "lets get it over with" attitute

  • @liewecz MANY people had shared your opinion initially. However, the more you review the show, the more you realize this ending was always the creators direction. There have been SO many clues throughout the entire series to validate this too.

I think when the collection arrives and many fans re-watch the show, they will gather more understanding. They will also be treated to some of the answers that pretty much mean nothing anyway... Life has unanswered mysteries, Lost replicated that.

  • @liewecz so true!

  • @liewecz

I'm disappointed by the lack of answers too. The finale seemed just to revolve around the things that were introduced in the last season, kind of disregarding the whole earlier seasons. Anyway, it was a fun ride while it lasted.

And James did another great recap.

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks Mr James for Lost thoughts. Yours sincearly, Matthew...

  • Loved the recap. You've done a great job this season and in the others. Please tell us you will be putting up other Lost related videos

  • good job mr james

  • nice job man :) *sobs* sorta

  • Thanks so much James! And they showed the connection of boom/dud world in charlotte's death too when she said her mother would disapprove of her dating an american (aka sawyer)

  • @shelbysrubyslippers you're right and she was a bitch.

  • The only thing I still wonder, is how Jack got out of that hole :P

  • been checking you tube everyday (more than once) for this. thank you. and thank you for all your recaps.

  • I pretty much screamed in my head, when the Juliet and Sawyer scene came I was soooo happy.

  • Just want to thank you for all of the recaps of the great show.

  • BTW mr james sheer genius point about the plane noise transition in the flashsideways in relations to jacks final earthly moments

  • Nice Work

  • Did anyone notice that the death of MIB mirrored the death of Jacob in that a mortal wound was inflicted and then the victim was kicked into a place that would confirm his death.

  • clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clapclapclapclapclap

  • tird

  • great recap, i am loocking forward to see you eating that apple!

  • second, and you are awesome james :)

  • first, thanks james been waiting a while for this
