Just a friendly tip, the explosion of the bomb is a little to high. I think its possible to fix that. But I mean, that doesn't really matter we already have bomb arrows, which rocks :D! Its just that I am a perfectionist, so excuse me.

Was this a simple hex edit, or much further in assembly? I guess it has to do with arrow interaction with an object?

I modified the collision routine for the arrow and added an explosion effect at the end, which isn't even an actor. You tell me.

Correct me if I am wrong, but on the topic of general assembly, you don't always have to be using it on an actor/sprite, right?
You can also add assembly to the ingame scripts?
Although now I know you used a hex editor.
I myself am a smw hacker and I am new to assembly. But I am slowly learning sprite asm ^.^ Wish me luck with Touhou: Seeds of Corruption.

What you said made zero sense from a technical standpoint and I did not use a hex editor. I used a MIPS32 assembler and disassembler.
This only happens after you have combined the bow and arrows in the submenu.

However what I truly wonder is weather or not we can still have normal arrows and replace,lets say, ice arrows instead.
The hard part would be assembling it to not interact with the magic meter...
