Im from México. Great fight. As a Sonorense i initially see castillo winning this fight. Finally Corrales say the right words that beat me, when the media question about the fight..... He said... "an honor".

You know what, some may say that Corrales "cheated" by taking his mouthpiece off but to me, he did what he must do to win. That's a professional boxer right there, taking any punishment given by the rules just to take one chance, one glimmer of hope, just one amazing punch to turn back the tides.

@hMMmmpify I've always wondered what would've happened if Tony Weeks just shoved the mouthpiece back in Corrales mouth after the second knockdown. He probably would've got stopped, but who knows.

@PureBoxerP4P He probably would have, I love the fight that end sequence ruins it a little for me because Chico was given almost 40 seconds to rest the second time. It also could have given off a bad impression to other fighters, if he can get time to rest by spitting out his mouthpeice then why shouldn't every fighter do that?

@farrell360 The more I think about it I feel that Chico losing his mouthpiece twice really makes the ending even more incredible. Tony Weeks did the right thing by deducting a point (Diego said after the 2nd KD he did try to take his mouthpiece out, but didn't mean to drop it out of his glove. Who knows if this is true). This deduction makes it a 10-6 round, so there is no way Chico can win a decision. He HAS to knock out Castillo, and after 2 KD's this looks like the least possible outcome.
