realism mode is supposed to be campaign. but instead of the original campaign u play it without the little highlighted stuff that u normally see in the original campaign. zombies are also more immune to body shots so it takes a shit load of hits to body to kill them so u have to aim for their head. also, your characters dont help you and tell u where items are and shit like that. basically its supposed to be exactly what u would experience if there ever is a zombie apocalypse in real life

Realism is like a step up from expert where you cannot see your friends "light" that indicates where they are, nor see weapon's "lights" ether. And it is true that you must do a "headshot" in order to kill set zombie target, making it a much harder, challenging mode to play.

In my opinion, the game is as good as it should have been. As good as IW made us think it'd be. It's definitely a brilliant game. The only downfall is that people were hyping it up to be revolutionary, and games are revolutionary very rarely. They have released info on Realism mode, check on the L4D2 blog. Witches kill in one hit, bodyshots do much less damage, but can still kill, team killing damge is up by loads, less ammo, less supplies, more witches, harder routes to take, but the special infected spawn less often.

That's very true, but Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 are really the only big blockbuster games coming out left to count down. After that, it'll be Dead Rising 2 (can't wait for that one), Aliens vs. Predator (can't wait for that one either) and after a while, Halo: Reach and Fallout: New Vegas. They already released info on realism. o.o It is what it is. Your teammates won't be highlighted with an aura, there won't be any indicators for ammo and new weapons, and enemies must be eliminated with shots to certain body parts .
