@Stonymypony She was injured. She had an inflamed shin, and it was later discovered that she had stress fractures on her ankle that were obtained sometime in Rotterdam. She had to limit repetitions before worlds due to her injury.

I did not like Aliya Mustafina until i realized one tiny little detail. SHES A LITTLE ELENA PRODUNOVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so now i love her :') i want her to dye her hair red and cut her eyebrows like Elena did too! haha. i also heard Aliya is very feisty and diva-ish. shes a very powerful gymnast too, so she matches the profile! Ive missed Elena Produnova so much and now i feel like she lives on in Mustafina <333

@snofagun1814 I don't know of any gymnast dying on the podium... but it could happen... It was disturbing enough when we had to see someone land on her head last Worlds, but at least she's okay now. It'll be terrible one day when we see someone break their neck and paralyze themselves. I'm sure it'll happen someday.

You have to realize, though, that they are really well trained and know what they're doing.
