Ahh, the sweet memories... :) I've been in love with this module ever since 1995 and counting! Captain has remixed his Space Debris mod recently for a PSN game "Rochard". The complete soundtrack (including the remix) can be obtained on POTF's website.
This tune still rocks, even after almost 20 years... Here's hoping Captain gets a chance to remix this song as well.
@8bitbubsy Oh nice. ! Thank you. I have loved that space debris one since I got my first MS DOS computer, gravis ultra sound, scream tracker. But I never knew who made it before. So one long lasting todo figured out Thanks!.
Now if I can only figure out how to "do" the sound of that "resonactix3" instrument (in space debris). I mean, the instrument seems like a sample of a note thru a gated flanger, and playing pieces at different offsets in the sample. I haven't figured it out. Pure genius.!

This sounds like laserdance like sort of 95% of all Amiga tracker MODs, Why does so many MOD authors think that 4/4 pace 125BPM and sounds execatly like those used by early Italodisco producers is the all-time high of musical aestetics?
Actually many MODs are great, but this song sucks. Just the same old shite and not even an inventive melody in there.
Such a good song, and that with only 4 tracks! Amazing skills! One could already learn a lot from people like Captain's songs and looking at the soundwaves only.
The tune was amyzing in my time. Still is. Amiga did put other machines to bite the dust. And with Sunrise AD16 and AD12 Amiga was the best what money can buy, still cheat at those times. I owned Petsoff Delfina-PLUS which was absolutely amyzing card. Utilizing AHI it could put the power of DSP to anywhere.. I love Amiga.....

Doesn't this sound a bit like that "Space Debris" mod? The instruments, and progressions.
travishein 8 months ago
@travishein Captain is also the musician behind spacedeb.mod, that might explain it. :)

I never had an Amiga but I sure listened to a lot of mod files on my Apple IIGS. This one in particular was one of my favorites.
Thanks for posting!
