i don't know if it was a glitch, but I was playing with the ROm that lets you use the 2007 roseters and I was playing with the Pats. I trie dto put in the game genie code that let's you get 10 minutes per quarter, but I accidentally put in something else and some players had attributes of like 800. Drew brees had speed of 800 and was running and passing literally off the screen. Eugene Wilson had ints and speed of 852 and ran back 8 picks for td in one game. I forgot the code, someone tell me.

It's a weird nuance in the game. Haddix was coming off of a Pro Bowl year in which he intercepted 7 passes (the only 7 INTs of his five year career) and returned a couple for TDs. Tecmo gave hime the best skills at CB in the game for some reason, and they were quite a bit higher than the next guy down. Haddix is like the Bo Jackson of CBs in Tecmo. Go Bucs!

And that's a perfect storm too...the Saints are easy marks because Steve Walsh commonly overthrows his receivers. Anyone not named Eric Martin usually = interception if you've got a decent guy covering, even in juice mode late in the year.

Looks to me like the guy playing against Haddix is just shot putting the ball up there and he has a friend operating Haddix who knows exactly who he is throwing to! A classic setup meant to get a reaction out of people! Not even the stupid computer throws the ball up like that!

I disagree. The New Orleans Saints actually have a *HORRIBLE* playbook in that game. Because the playbook is so bad, they have sorry, long-developing pass plays and flea flickers.

They have pass plays with two or three receivers on them.

In this game, one defender can easily cover two receivers deep if he is FAST enough, like Mr. Haddix is.

Now, if the CPU had a bunch of plays where the receivers would go to different depths, then it wouldn't be so bad.

81 INT ability in normal health. Better than Haddix's 75 INT in normal health.

My college roommate tracked down Mr. Haddix himself, and got him to autograph a picture for us with the written message:  "Keep it Excellent."

Too bad Tecmo determined a player's skill level based on real life stats from the year before. Deion Sanders, Darrell Green, and Rod Woodson totally owned Wayne Haddix back then in terms of ability, but because Haddix had like 10 pics the year before the game came out (more than any of the others) he was better at picking passes on the game. Martin Mayhew is a better CB than Darrell Green on that game...LMAO!

lol thats crazy, I know in the original Tecmo Bowl you could intercept anything (hell, I used Bill Pickel, a DT, to pick off 8 in one game) but it was a little harder in TSB.  To get 11 INTs and injure Dalton Hilliard and Ironhead in the same game is quite a performance.
