A lot of people criticised Vince and the WWF for doing this show, but I disagree with that. It showed us the most important and most unknown thing about Owen Hart, his relationships and friendships; how much he meant to the real people behind the show. It was so tragic, I think it was the best tribute possible that the stars and the fans mourned together.

I appreciate you posting this, you probably don't know how much. The night that happened, we actually watched the show, and at first, they made it seem like he was going to be okay. Then toward the middle of the show they announced that he had actually died. I don't remember any of the matches that night. I do remember spending the next night crying as the WWE wrestlers said goodbye to their friend. I remember watching Triple H hold Chyna. I didn't know it was real until then. Thank you.

But when I first learned about him and the kinda of person he was it broke my heart to learn of his death. I've come to respect and care alot about the Harts. I've come to care alot about Owen. And this whole night, you could tell the future of pro wrestling. The guys who clearly are in the business and willing to sacrifice so much for the job. At the end of the day, it is not about making millions of dollars. It is about making enough money to support your family. That is what Owen's death reminded everybody and why it was so emotional for even the guys who didn't know Owen that well. He was a good guy, wrestling to make enough money to retire early and be with his family.

Law enforcement investigations and civil court proceedings proved conclusively that the only guilt in Owen's death was on the corrupt company that manufactured the defective harness that broke and killed Owen. It was the same company that made the harnesses when Sting used to do the same stunt, so it could have just as easily been Sting dead instead of Owen, but I bet unknowing smarks would not have blamed Turner and Bischoff .

Martha was fine financially because Owen saved every penny, McMahon was always going to make sure Owen's kids were taken care of as he does with Droz to this day, and Martha was shacked up with another guy shortly after Owen was in the ground. Martha and Bret forced senile Stu and Helen in to the law suit (Stu and Helen never saw a penny from it), which is why none of the Hart brothers and sisters talk to Martha or Bret any more
