Brilliant video. Nazimova was an amazing performer who validates the great line from Sunset Boulevard: "We didn't need dialogue. We had faces." It's a tragedy that Salome flopped and pretty much ended her career. A classic case of art being ahead of its time, I guess. Thank you so much for posting this!

what a beuty.i remember my father was in love with her.when my mother was being dramatic.he would say" Who do you think you are nazimova" it was name frequently mentioned in our house.i am 75 and i would love to see some of her movies.has anyone any idea where i can get them.i think gloria swanson was a bit like her in sunset boulevard,not as beutiful but that same aura.oh where have those days gone,gone to flowers everyone,but their lovely spirit still lives on,and i wish peace to everyone.
