Shaq offensive foul, Vlade Jams on whole franchise

Shaq did a lot of offensive pushing with his body that other players would have gotten fouls called. When defensive players tried to body up against him many times they got called for a foul. Divac was a victim numerous times. When you allow a player to use his body to push and you don't allow the defensive player the same courtesy you create a virtully ungardable player.

it doesn't matter on that play a defender is entitled to a space you can't just knock him over that's not basketball. i have seen plenty of offensive fouls called on a post up move like that. The circle is for taking charges on a player driving in, Vlade wasn't setting up to take a charge he was defending a guy posting up and shaq ran him over

NBA rules should be changed. You should be allowed to knock someone over, or run someone over.

Knocking someone over by contact isn't the same as shoving/pushing someone using your hands or elbows. NBA fouls should be designed to discourage cheap play, dirty play, or skill-less play (e.g. anyone can shove someone). Rules should not be designed to discourage contact. The nature of any sport is contact - if people don't like it, they can watch camel fucking by A-rabs in Iraq.
