I Flew On The Very Same Airplane ,Different Date....December 28,2010 , So Many Turbulence , I Was 9 years old , Also There Was A Guy That Screamed "OH MY GAWD THIS IS SCARY" and yeah that was scary

it was kinda crammed but has some space to stretch your legs. seats i would say was kinda uncomfortable!! but manage to put the blanket and the pillow on my back!!

Dubai is like the major hub for connecting flights to go to Asia. I took a Delta flight from Atlanta to Dubai. I had a connecting flight that would leave the next day. While there, I had the most amazing time touring Dubai. Next day, I took an Emirates flight to see my family in Bangladesh. Emirates was awesome!

i recorded it without asking them.

you can ask them to record. but if they don't let you, do it without them knowing. and also keep a look out for the flight attend. in the cabin while you are recording and the camcorder when you are not recording. BE CAUTIOUS!!

it would have been great to see the engine but when i ordered the tickets from emirates to fly from houston. the flight is full. so they put me and the rest my family to the back of the plane which was the worst experience of my flying life:P. if you want to fly from houston. the seat you want are slim because the flight is full of indians like me who goes to india for summer. so don't fly from houston. nyc, LAX, and san francisco is much better and you can get the seat you want!!

Btw: in one of my threads i am discussing engine sound of the 777-200 LR. On my only flight so far i found the engine sound was more present than other engines during the flight..did you have a similar expreience?

same here!!! it is the aircraft manufacturers. Boeing made their jets with titanium and aluminum. Airbus make their plans with titanioum, aluminum and carbon fiber. the carbon fiber somewhat, i think, reduces the sound level of the engine and , i think, whe we endure a turbulence, the airbus reduces the feel of turbulence. when we were taking of you can see that the plane was shakiing. during the flight, there was lots of turbulence. my food almost fell of the tray!!! Lol.

Well, it depends sometimes on where you land. While it is ok for the airline, there might be places where local authorities would not allow vdeotaping runways etc.

Hey AuliaHarun, the reason that the screens on the B777-200LR are newer is because they are brand new. The Emirates B777-300ERs that are not the new ULRs are fitted with new seats along with the older televisions that they kept. Only Emirates A380s, B777-300ER ULRs and B777-200LRs have the new generation 'ICE', seats and screens where as the older 77Ws are being refurbished with new seats only, not new screens...

same, i flew Emirates MEL-DXB-ATH on an Airbus A340-500 and non-retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER to Athens, those widescreen TVs and new generation seats look amazing, not to mention the new ICE!

emirate now started flight from los angeles few weeks ago which they use the 777LR and now they are planning to arrive at san francisco some time december then next they panning to come to miami, dallas, chicago, etc.

also some A340-500 also have the new seats and ice system. i am going to post some more inflight video including approach for landng. i didn't record the landing because the flight attendent almost caught me!! YIKES!!!

but you will see more emirates flight from trivandrum kerala to dubai on A330 and Dubai to NYC JFK on 777-300ER with the new seat configs.

no i wasn't. Emirates has the ICE System on its A340-500, 777-200LR, and 777-300ERS so it has lots of movies to watch like vantage point which was so good and games like tetris. also you can call people from your seat which is avalible on those planes. first class and business is worth flying 14:30 hrs. but economy i would say in the center.
