dude ever heard apple hates android and apple wants to give they re customers only softwares for the customers. Apple is a buisness and as a buisness owner you want more customers to make more money simple as that. Who cares if they only allow apple products to use an apple software. Why would apple let android use its servers, you did know that steve jobs wanted to destroy apple, yet you think apple should share its cloud service with android?
I'd pretty much use google music in the (very rare) case that I'm not with my iPod AND have access to the Internet, and wanna listen to music (pretty much in school) I have an account, but I have yet put anything on it yet.
Personally I think google and apple should work together and make something insanely epic and Awrsome, rather than compete.
1) there's streaming in iTunes match. It's in the beta they released last night
2) you can use the service on your windows computer with iTunes installed
3) no shit they won't release a app for the android! Apple's iOS is a direct competitor to android! icloud/ iTunes match is seen as a advantage to iOS they make it exclusive to their platform because its a pull factor to buy their products. Also last time I checked there's no google music service on the iPhone. Because it's a pull factor for
@TheWiiHackerz Thanks for the update, I need to go back and revisit this now that more is known. Plus Spotify has added a whole new dimension to this war. To your points.... 1) This is great news, when they announced it this was not going to be an option. 2) My music is already located on my laptop so I don't need the service there, but if you had more than one system it makes sense. 3) As for mobile exclusivity, I know you are right but it makes the program useless to me.
i guess google won lol
