I have never seen the word "healthy" used in the same sentence with the words "Lithuanian Food". Far from it, it could probably kill you after your cholestorol levels go through the roof but at least you'd meet your maker with a big smile on your face. Yum!

I'm of Lithuanian descent, and we always refer to what the man called "sliced potato latke" as blini. And blini are not sliced potatoes, but shredded potatoes mixed with egg, flour, and onion fried in oil.
