I grew up on Consoles, so naturally I play consoles, and so whenever I hear of PCs i can't help but think of MMOs, it never really occured to me that FPS were a large part of the PC market.

A good PC , able to run BF3 at it's highest settings costs something around 999.99$. You can use that last cent for something else.

Second, that $999 PC + a Gaming Mouse + Gaming Keyboard + Headset + Monitor = a shitload more than you pay for to play console games. Now for the deals and countless free mods, PC gaming is great. But to spend approx. $1000 dollars more to get a slightly higher quality gaming experience is a waste of money to me.
