Anyone remember an episode of the Tube on ch4,when you were given the chance to vote for the promo of this song or another?.Sadly Win lost but a brief clip was shown which had the band on theme park rides,or is my memory playing tricks on me.
thanks for posting this one, its brillient to hear it again, i cant get it on C.D, though how annoying, ive heard the whole album and its really good, i would love this better if it was on C.D, And i can remember the mcewans ad for this one as well, brings back old memorys, i love u you tube and thanks again, xxxxxxxxxxx
I was just a kid in the 80's when this song came out with the mcewans advert. good song, good advert- one that sticks in the subconscious-thank god for youtube so we can find these things! looked for this 5 yrs ago but couldnt find it
Thanx, and greetings brothers! From a great WIN fan. From Buenos Aires, Argentina. Can't Believe uh, tears baby wasn't a massive hit and isn't on CD. Unfair. How much are the rights to those 2 records? I'll buy them. Seriously. Rhino records has been doing this sort of thing for years now. How much? We put the money together and give it a proper release 2010/2011. Can't get that kind of info from here. B.A. Argentina. Yes, an Argie. julianmarti@gmail.com let's work fellas.
Very Nicely Done "20thCenturyRocks" ... A great tribute to an under-estimated band, and a particularly great Scottish track, "You've Got The Power". Have you had any contact from the guys?? Best, WS.
I can't play this song at all. Every time i play this while im enjoying my mcewans lager. Some weird folk on the tv screens push a big ball through my screen. Bloddy annoying.
Wow ! I used to have this but some bandido borrowed it off me ! Put's me in the mood for a pint of McEwans ! Does anyone no where I can get a copy ? Memories !
This tune is kicking my head in at the moment. Absolutely superb. Why isn't the album on download somewhere? I would happily buy it. (There's a few vinyl copies about but I don't have the technology to convert.)
I remember at the time the ad was popular & up here, they had just started a ScottisH pop chart.
Apparently this friendly band were so sure they had a no.1 they got & I quote "Rather snotty with the press".The song I hear didnt quite top the charts for yonks but Id rather hear this great song that the umpteenth playing of 500 Miles by the %&£*ing proclaimers!
Great band, great album 'Uh Tears Baby'...had a rip of it somewhere! Quite proud of these guys, as they're from my home town Edinburgh, Scotland. All I ken (know) is they were called the 'Fire Engines' before they were calling themselves 'WIN'....KICK ON!
Absolute killer song.

Interesting but I think the lyrics are little weak, it had a catchy hook though perfectly suited to zombies and escher .
