  • Superb brings back old memories of the dangerous days up the dancing

  • Interesting but I think the lyrics are little weak, it had a catchy hook though perfectly suited to zombies and escher .

  • 20thcentury you've just made my night mate , years since I've heard this , great advert and a tune that still sounds fresh even now , magic

  • I was just a kid in the 80's when this song came out with the mcewans advert. good song, good advert- one that sticks in the subconscious-thank god for youtube so we can find these things! looked for this 5 yrs ago but couldnt find it

  • Very Nicely Done "20thCenturyRocks" ... A great tribute to an under-estimated band, and a particularly great Scottish track, "You've Got The Power". Have you had any contact from the guys?? Best, WS.

  • Fire Engines/Win rocked Davey is a genius

  • I can't play this song at all. Every time i play this while im enjoying my mcewans lager. Some weird folk on the tv screens push a big ball through my screen. Bloddy annoying.

  • This tune is kicking my head in at the moment. Absolutely superb. Why isn't the album on download somewhere? I would happily buy it. (There's a few vinyl copies about but I don't have the technology to convert.)

    From a fellow local tuber!;-)

  • Glad you enjoyed and glad you think its a top tune too... even better that you're local!

    Cheers :)

  • I remember at the time the ad was popular & up here, they had just started a ScottisH pop chart.

Apparently this friendly band were so sure they had a no.1 they got & I quote "Rather snotty with the press".The song I hear didnt quite top the charts for yonks but Id rather hear this great song that the umpteenth playing of 500 Miles by the %&£*ing proclaimers!

  • Great band, great album 'Uh Tears Baby'...had a rip of it somewhere! Quite proud of these guys, as they're from my home town Edinburgh, Scotland. All I ken (know) is they were called the 'Fire Engines' before they were calling themselves 'WIN'....KICK ON!

  • I've got a rip on cd;)
