@Clatterzz It is crazy - there really does appear to be a man sitting there. I tell you what, I was extremely creeped out the first time someone pointed that out to me. Wierd.
@airbornegasguy Thank you man. That is an Alvarez, and I tell you what, it's not a top-of-the-line guitar, I paid somewhere between $300 and $500 for it but I use it more than any of my other six-strings. It's my old beater, and I really love it. The electronics gave out after a few years, but I never really used them anyway, except for the built-in tuner; I have a better tuner that sits atop the head anyway now. She's held up well. I hope she doesn't get neglected after I get my martin.
Dude A very good cover of this song.I just watched it like 5 times. The great thing about this song is its simplicity, too many people try to fancy it up, and sing it without soul. You keep it smooth and your intonation conveys the best qualitys of this song. I would like to hear more..
@gorstman Thank you so much. I never really felt the need to jazz it up either, I agree with you. There is really so much in the vocals/lyrics that it should really focus there. I'll put some more up here.
@hdd1b - It isn't; however, it really looks like it doesn't it? It looks like there's a guy in a white shirt with his arms crossed leaning on the island? Wow. Those are just milk cartons or something. Sorry about this view by the way everyone, I didn't have anywhere to rest my camera at eye level and I just wanted to get this recorded, so I set it on my piano and just went with it.
@mitchtube3 I will slip this into a live set at some point. When we play it as a group there's some sax in there, and it goes more electric about halfway through. It builds really nicely. I've changed it quite a bit since this video. I just realized how long ago I recorded this. I should really get some of our new stuff up there.
Is it me or does it look like there's a man's face above the bags in the kitchen??! O_o
